It’s not like the hills and greens at Augusta make that putt a 8/10 on the difficulty scale

It’s impossible to translate that to your average golfer. I’ve been fortunate enough to play a couple courses the Monday after they hosted the Mo. Amateur and the greens were still stimping at a 12 - 12.5 and that is just gross

quote:

Augusta National doesn't release official stimpmeter readings, but the greens are typically very fast, with ratings ranging from 12 to 15, depending on conditions

This is a standard day at the office for the Cam Smith experience

it is now. before he left the PGA his approach shots were #5 on the tour. since he joined LIV they've been below average. his play around the greens and on the putting surface are the only parts of his game that havent fell off.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen JT hit so many just horrible shots. Usually it’s the putter that lets him down. That’s like 5 just absolute awful shots, including a blade and a chunk

Mark Brodie found no material difference in uphill/downhill, left breaking/right breaking putts of the same distance in any of his data. I’ll take his word over it over some fricking retard
Directly from Mark Broadie

quote:

But what are the chances of carding 2 here instead of a two-putt par? To answer that question, you have to know the slope. On typical eight-footers, putt difficulty varies considerably depending on green contours. Fast fact: Uphill putts are easier than downhillers. The main reason uphillers are sunk at a higher rate is that they’re typically struck harder, so they don’t break as much and are less affected by gravity and green-reading errors.

quote:

On steep slopes, eight-foot sidehill-downhillers are sunk almost 20 percent less frequently than their uphill-sidehill counterparts. That’s a huge difference!

You look like such a fricking idiot Calling me a retard when the own expert you cite agrees with me

Please God please let’s see how mingo responds. Or if we are lucky he will just run away in shame

Legally do you have to try your hardest to find it?

Definitely one of those shots you picture in your mind and try to hit and just launch it way off line

Rory seems nervous. Doesn’t seem to be playing with confidence. He has a case of tight a-hole for sure.

Good round from Nick Dunlap today. Nice of him to make the old guys feel good about themselves.
