There’s no way to officially put someone on the trade block btw

Whose a worse fit Ben Simmons

I cant Think of a worse fit than pairing Simmons and Zion.

Sexton would be one of the best 3 point shooters on our team.

Being an elite defender, being a very good ball handler, and being able to make very good to elite passes, all at 6’6+” makes him pretty valuable.

But what would the Pels have to give up to get him?????? Too much I’m afraid.

Great move by Philly trying to trade him while his value is at its highest point.

Dumbass, he’s probably the best all around defender in the league. He can literally guard all 5 positions.

He was All NBA First Team Defense, so everyone who does this for a living disagrees with you.

He was 8th in the league in DBPM as well, so advanced stats agree with the NBA writers and broadcasters who selected All NBA Defensive Team.

His versatility on that side of the floor is pretty unbelievable. He can guard, and effectively guard, at least 4 positions on the court at any time.

If he were still on a rookie deal, it might be worth the risk a la Fultz.

On a superstar deal? Nope, not happening. He isn’t in Wiggins territory but he is getting paid an awful lot for someone with limited offensive capabilities either due to a lack of work ethic or a mental block needing a team of sports psychologists.

He’s 6’10” if not a bit more. There’s a big difference between 6’6”+ and 6’10” +.

Like I said, terrible fit. So don’t be afraid.

I cant See how a trade would work, but I always Though It would be cool to see Simmons on the Warriors with guys like Curry and Thompson taking the heat off him and knocking down threes.

I mean the model for Simmons is staring everyone right in the face. Draymond made a nice career for himself just being a facilitator on offense and guarding multiple positions and he did that with 1/10th of Simmons talent. And Simmons not trying to shoot is a benefit compared to when Draymond decides he’s Micheal Jordan sometimes

If I’m Golden state I’m trying to find a way to flip draymond somewhere and using their assets to get Simmons. Enough shooters there where Simmons deficiencies are buried and it sets them up for another run. Easier said than done of course

In a league that doesn’t play much defense at all…. Ok…. Are you saying he is better than Pippen????

Lol, we posted at the same time but I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this.

The only thing is Green brings the enforcer attitude to a sorta finesse team.

Draymond does hit some clutch threes when he's left wide open though. Simmons needs to add that to his arsenal. Just the easy, uncontested ones.

He hasn’t really done that since 2015-2016. I have more confidence in a Giannis three going in than a Draymond 3 these days

That is an $8m / season difference in Simmons being more expensive and Dray, while good, hasn’t lived up to his current contract.

You can put Simmons out there next to Steph and Klay to hide his offensive liabilities but that is a lot of money to pay for a defense only player.
