Anyone know what is going on with Rummel program?
The lost 2 close games. Curtis has a nice team.
They play in an extremely competitive district.
I suspect they are fine. Maybe it's a young team.
Things cycle in this district.

Northwood gamed the system… hard to imagine them making the semis
Bump… we’d probably still be playing right now if we had Northwood’s schedule (which is good because they ain’t
4-7 Elizabeth 2x
4-9 Stanley 2x
4-10 Lakeside
4-11 Montgomery 2x
4-12 Delhi Charter 2x
4-14 Logansport 2x
All at home. That’ll get ya ready for the big boys
Wish NOLA teams could schedule that bullshite
Slidell is in the quarterfinals at Sam Houston and Northshore is a win against Walker in game 3 away from a trip to Live Oak

First things first: yall have a heck of a program and congrats on a successful season.
Next up:
We scored 3 runs off HBP but ill fill everyone in on the whole truth. 1st game- Roark drills Harvey in the head, ends up scoring. 2nd game- Ferguson drills Oustalet in the head, ends up scoring. The “shovel” isnt worn on the dome, silly. You must be upset about Walkers elbow guard, although he was HBP 3 times, only 1 run resulted and that was Keiser(pinch runner) scoring from 1st on a hit and run fly ball to right that should have been caught. So the “shovel” excuse doesn’t play. Here’s what does:
If you bring in a closer for the 7th inning both games, you probably win both.
1st game-3 runners thrown out trying to steal second. Gotta know who has the best catcher in the state. Its not barbe.
2nd game-3 different innings the lead off guy gets on but next guy cant get the bunt down. 19 years old-no excuse for it. Our 7th inning, 3-1 count squeeze was executed by a 15 year old freshman in game 1.
Two balls were hit 10 ft shy of the 355ft sign in left center but we definitely didnt hit the ball as well as usual, credit to both of WM pitchers for limiting us. We have 337 hits, 22 HR’s thru 38 games, so we had to fight like hell when the bats were getting cold.
The walk off ball did bounce our way, probably because of the cute walk up song the announcer picked for him. I hope whoever was in charge of the soundboard falls in dog crap in church clothes. Or maybe because it was the 4th time our home run leader (7 on the year) had seen Ferg today, he was due and has had huge playoff hits for the last 3 years.
heck of a series win and glad chad got the monkey off his back

And for LSU777- yes im back, shut it. See yall in Sulphur.
1) i never talked shite, just asked where you were. shouldnt have left over a simple series as yall have a great program and a great team. you have never heard me say a bad thing about them and have lots of friends that went there...with that said...im much older and went to SH older rivals so frick SH
2) wont be in Sulphur, will be at barbe. only finals are in Sulphur and barbe/SH will meet in semifinals assuming both win
quote:
One last note- 4 of our starters cant drive yet. Game 1 pitcher is 15. Game 3 pitcher and closer(if they were needed) are also 15. SH is going to be good for a while.
not just that, the 2029&2030 classes are pretty stacked for SH. especially the 2029. 2030 is very top heavy but got some absolute monsters in that class, including chads nephew. Him and 1 other in that 2030 class....im telling you could be really really special if they continue to develop and work hard....really good kids and families too, some of the best I know. anyone that thinks SH is going anywhere is dumb AF...they run one of the best all around programs in the country when you talk about the amazing off season work Chad does.

this...Div 1 baseball is fricking hard on both sides. I dont think people appreciate how hard it is to win in D1 and just expect people to dominate year in and year out.

Of course they lost some big bats last year. The run for Rebel baseball is over.
na, WM has some monster classes coming up soon too. I have no love lost for WM, but they arent going anywhere. as far as the 19 thing...I have made my feelings felt as I think its a great thing.......but yea they do it more than anyone. in the end though who cares, go play ball.

quarterfinal brackets for top 3 divisions. some great series coming up. I'll mainly be paying attention to the following:
In Div 1 NS, really interested in that sulphur vs benton matchup and the dutchtown vs barbe
on select side...jesuit at stm, JC at Catholic and acadiana at HC in div 1 are going to be big.
in div 2 only one that stands out imo is the ed white at st charles series
in Div 3 NS, that kaplan at westlake and the berwick at south beau matchups stand out
in div 3 Select only st louis at catholic ni standsout

yep. awesome facilities because of that, awesome coaching staff and chad doesnt waste that money, he has an outstanding off season program....extremely organized and extremely well run with focus on strength/size/speed and brings people in as needed as consultants to teach what he dont know.
i love the town is all in on baseball, its how barbe got so good. You either in or you are out....cant be half way and expect to win.

Probably should cut Glenn in 5%
They don’t raise that without the boogeyman on the other side of town

shoot if that is the case...better send some to WM too, they been more of a boogeyman to them than barbe. Hell they been splitting the series for years now. this first year barbe beat them in both in a long time and SH was kind of in a lull then, now they are hot and it was tough to beat them before, going to be even harder now.

Nah. The monster classes are all gone and playing college ball. With Ferguson leaving they have lost all the big guns (excluding Cupit) from their remarkable run. They have nothing close to Fed, Perarson, Hawsey, etc coming up. Solid classes but nothing like Sam Houston and Barbe.

First ive heard of only the ship being played in sulphur, the LHSAA bracket has the semifinals and championship games listed at McMurray.
The off season workouts are unreal. Very strict, very intense. You have to be hungry to make it.
Chad pours every ounce he has into that program. The assistant coaches all work in harmony too. Its been pretty awesome to watch them play this year and its finally all coming together at the right time, should be an exciting next couple of weeks

yea new format is best of 3 all the way to the finals with all games played at higher seed stadium and swapping home and home. Finals are best of 3 in sulphur. That is for divisions 1-3 both non select and select
and yea chad does a great job of using his knowledge of lifting to really help the kids. I love to see it.
