Curtis pissed that game away.

Were you at the game? What was the deal with the ball that hit the fence that Curtis wanted called a home run? I was not there, just read it in the news.

I was not there, but I talked to somebody that was. He said the ball hit the very top of the fence and came back in. Curtis claims their park rules deem that a HR. Not a HR imo. It's not like it hit something over the fence and came back in. It hit the actual fence. They need to not play at that rinky dink rec park. And when you get your brains beat in 2 days later, it's just water under the bridge.

No way they should be playing district games at Harahan playground.

Athletic Park in Ponchatoula opens back up tomorrow for the first time since Hurricane Ida destroyed the old structure.

Lakeshore @ Ponchatoula Tuesday
Rummel @ Ponchatoula Wednesday

Gonna be a great atmosphere in the new park. It is still not completed, but they are allowing a few games to be played there this year.

Barbe has won 11 in a row and up to #4 in power rankings. Everyone is coming back health I think this week and two kids should be getting eligibility restored after moving to LC, and the suspensions are over with....i would expect them to prolly only lose 1 game rest of the year(split with SH) and secure home field throughout. The discipline problems are done...Glen aint gonna put up with it.

They will be a very tough out in the playoffs. Miller is really rounding into form as the #2 pitcher and one of the transfers should be ready to go come playoff time.

Was looking at power rankings today and NSD1 is insane…

We’re back to 11-10 and having a decent year but that’s not good enough anymore… so I had to look and make this table

.500 or worse baseball teams in playoff position

———winning teams in nonplayoff position

NS1 1/24—— 6
NS2 10/24——— 0
NS3 8/24—— 1
NS4 10/24—— 0
S1 5/20——— 1
S2 6/20—— 0
S3 8/20——— 0
S4 7/20——— 1
B 8/20—— 0
C 17/20—— 0

Barbe might split with Sulphur, may even split with Southside but no shot splitting with Sam Houston, no way. Sam Houston is going to drag Barbe, twice. Mark. My. Words.
