Hideki gained 5.45 strokes approach in the third round, twice as many as anyone else.
Absolutely insane number.
Rose is first in the field in strokes gained putting and lost stokes in the second round. Gained over 5 on Thursday.

Your numbers are all great and make sense, except for one guy. I've always been trained to think Spieth is so good because he is not long, but had a great short game. And was always a fantastic putter. But, your numbers have said his putting is a liability. And he is not long. So, how is he even in this?

Jordan Spieth leads the field in strokes gained around the green this week.
Only 4 players have even half as many strokes gained around the green as he does (+5.51).

And then the rains came. Different tourney now and I'm boldly predicting a lot of guys will be now flag hunting for the money round. Should be a mad dash for cash and a green jacket.

Kinda strange to think that when this course was in its infancy, Bobby Jones and America was trying to wipe Matsuyama’s ancestors from existence
Funny how fast the world changes now

I’m here for all of the “Are they going to serve sushi or have a hibachi chef at next year’s Champions Dinner?” jokes.
Fuzzy Zoeller has to be feeling anxious today.

It would be hard to determine how much money those dumb arse comments costs Fuzzy that day, word is he was half lit and thought he was talking to the boys at the bar.
He was one of the first to go "Viral" with something stupid.
K-Mart (Big at the time) carried his cloths and clubs but dropped him, I'm sure there were more sponsors who did the same.
He went from a household name to a fool in about two seconds

Should be a fun final round. Can Matsuyama putt under the pressure of a nation. Wonder if he’s completely avoiding the relentless Japanese media.

I haven't watched as much as I have wanted to, but at least I haven't seen too much "wokeness". Hopefully, it's not that I've missed it, it's that we'll spend the entire time talking about what's relevant: the golf game itself.
There are plenty other channels that TV viewers can get their woke needs filled, should that be their wish.

Ive seen no wokeness other than fawning over Cameron Champ for being black

I felt like ANGC laid down the law to the talking heads at CBS.
And none of them want to go by way of Gary McCord

He may.... all depends on who handles the winds the best today.

He is an exceptional ball striker, and it’s a bit of a myth that his putter was the reason he won so much from 2014 - 2017. He is particularly great with his irons. He was a good, not great, putter during his previous run.

He’s 1/4 black. White mom, dad mixed black/white. But they still call him ‘bi-racial’ even though that’s not technically correct unless you count anyone who has a black person within 2 generations of their family as black, which is pretty much what people do.
It bugs me way more than it should but i don’t understand why the bulk of mixed race kids pretty much renounce the white parts of their lineage and latch on fully to ‘the struggle’ of being black, sometimes with even more fervor than the average fully black person. So many examples in sports.

Was interesting in the Tiger doc how Tiger fully embraced being mixed and downplayed being black.
fricking piece of shite Bryant Gumble shite on Tiger for that saying hes just black
