You serious?
Yes. To win a tournament in golf you have to beat your competitors. The Masters is not close to being the most difficult field

hey call THE MASTERS for A reason
Because that is the name they chose

didnt call it easy

Tiger would have at least 10 green Jackets
Well Tiger does have more Masters wins than any other major (tied with PGA)........

Oh here goes Dukke again with his terrible take that the Masters is THE MASTERS and the most difficult tournament.

The Players is the most difficult golf tournament to win. Not the most prestigious, but the most difficult.

Absolutely. No exemptions, just straight chalk of the top 145 players in the world

So to win the players you have to beat out 144 of the top players in the world

To win the masters this year, you only have to beat out 96 other players, with many being old past champs and such.......

I actually think it's only 87 guys in the field this year. And I'd venture to say at least 15 of those guys have a 0.0% chance of winning.

Immleman, Lyle, Mize, Olazabal, O'Meara, Singh, Weir, Willett, Woosnam, Ghim, Ellis, Redman, Yuxin, Parziale, and Niemann.

Could easily lump in Cabrera, Couples, and Langer in there because the only reason they're qualified is by being past Champs.

There are only 87 players in this year's field.
Which is a pretty low number even for this selective format.

I think Westwood and Stricker would be nice additions to the field. I think most fans would appreciate them being there.

I have an irrational and well-documented hatred of Lee Westwood

But yes, even I'm sad I won't get to hate on his bitch arse this week

Think Westwood would be a fair addition, but not exactly sure about Stricker.

Love the dude, but don’t think you can invite someone just for being likeable. Only two top 10s in 16 appearances at Augusta and no top 5s.

Sharma got the invite as a way to grow the game globally. He’s 21, and India is obviously massive market so I understand it even if I wouldn’t have done so myself.

Willett has got to be the flukiest former champ in the field.

How in hell did he win the Masters?

Oh yeah, Spieth threw that one away.

Cool///// Its actually very hard... They play on the same course every year.... YES you made it sound easy... I don't think you realize how hard the course is to win on..........

He was still a really solid player until his brother ruined his career before the 2016 Ryder Cup by making stupid comments about the Americans. He was a top 15 player in the world before he won the Masters.

Feel like Willett, Immelman, and Larry Mize are all kind of on the same level.

They talked that a little bit on the No Laying up pod with Bones. It’s so much more important to leave yourself in the right spot, than it is to be a great putter. It obviously helps to do both well, but it’s definitely not a necessity to putt great.

You just have to putt good enough.
Good for Spieth that his irons are amazing right now.

Bad for him that he isn't just putting poorly. Dude is threatening DFL's in putting stats in some tournaments. He looked to have made some serious progress last Thursday and Friday, then went straight back to looking like an amateur on the greens.

The Pony will be in contention on Saturday but not close Sunday. I think it’s a 4 way duel between the Big Cat, Bubba, JT, and Rory. Spieth finishes 5 with the Pony top 10

What tournament did he win? I thought he was top 10 Euro though? Did he skip it?

Andy North with the Big Cat has no reason to not win it.
