Season Strokes Gained Putting Rankings of the last 10 Master's Champs:

'17- Sergio 168th
'16- Willett N/A
'15- Spieth 9th
'14- Bubba 110th
'13- Scott 103rd
'12- Bubba 156th
'11- Schwartzel 101st
'10- Phil 133rd
'09- Cabrera 63rd
'08- Immelmann 191st

You don't exactly have to be the best putter to win that Green Jacket. Average over the last ten years for people that were ranked in that stat (Willett not included)... 114.88

Judging by this stat... the winner of the 2018 Green Jacket will be Thomas Pieters who currently sits 116th for the 2018 season

I can’t argue with that. It’s all very subjective. I just feel like his window to win one is nearly closed, if not already closed, given his age and slide in the world rankings.

Rahm hasn't performed well enough in the majors yet to be given that title, but he's also only 23 I believe.

Rickie (29 y.o.) has 4 PGA tour wins, 2 European tour wins, won the Hero, and 8 top tens in majors (6 top 5s)
Kuch (39 y.o.) has 7 PGA tour wins, and 10 top tens in majors (4 top 5s)
Sneds (37 y.o.) has 8 PGA tour wins, and 10 top tens in majors (2 top 5s)
Hideki (26 y.o) has 5 PGA tour wins, 8 Japanese tour wins, won the Hero, and 7 top tens in majors (4 top 5s)
Jon Rahm (23 y.o.) has 2 PGA tour wins, 2 European tour wins, and 0 top tens in majors
Lee Westwood (44 y.o.) has 2 PGA tour wins, 23 European tour wins, 7 other Asian tour wins, 4 Japanese tour wins, former World #1, and 18 top tens in majors (11(!!!!) top 5s)

Westwood hasn't played great recently, but he's younger than Phil, and made the cut at each of the last 12 Major Championships so it's not like he's done. But he's definitely reaching the tail end of his career.

I think I'd put my order still as

1. Westwood
2. Hideki
3. Kuch
4. Fowler

The guy is a beast.

How'd the winners putt the week of the tourney?

Does Ricky currently hold the title for the best player to not win a major? Years ago Phil held that title for some time.

As others have mentioned, it depends how you judge it. Colin Montgomerie is probably the best player to never win a major. Westwood is the best active player with a reasonable shot to have never won one.

It's hard to argue Ricky over Jon Rahm though. Rahm has been in the Top 10 of the WGR for consecutive weeks longer than Ricky, and he's currently higher than Ricky.

Alright, you’ve convinced me. Lee Westwood should still hold the title.

Unfortunately... I cant find tournament specific stats like that... but my point was:

Just because someone hasn't been putting well recently, doesn't mean they wont turn it on and do what they need to do at Augusta.

They talked that a little bit on the No Laying up pod with Bones. It’s so much more important to leave yourself in the right spot, than it is to be a great putter. It obviously helps to do both well, but it’s definitely not a necessity to putt great.

You just have to putt good enough.

Will Tiger Woods make the 2018 Masters cut? Yes: -170 | No: +140

He's never missed one as a professional. I would venture to say this is as lock-y as it gets with Woods this week in terms of gambling.

Will Tiger Woods finish in the top 10 at 2018 Masters? Yes: +515 | No: -985

He has 13 top 10s in 18 appearances as a pro, and "yes" is on a great number.

Will Tiger Woods finish in the top 20 at 2018 Masters? Yes +260 | No -350

Will Tiger Woods hit ball into water on No. 12 during 2018 Masters? Yes: +150 | No: -200

He finished top 20 in 2015 after not having played for two months. So yes!

Lowest 18-hole score in any round of 2018 Masters -- Over 65.5: -115 | Under 65.5: -115

I love over here, especially with poor weather in the forecast for the weekend.

Will 54-hole leader win the 2018 Masters (ties included)? Yes: -150 | No: +120

No, there will be too many horses.

2018 Masters Winning margin

Playoff: +225
1 shot: +305
2 shot: +425
3 shots: +525
4 shots or more: +345

Of the 81 Masters that have been played, 40 have been either a playoff or decided by one stroke.

How many strokes under par will winner finish in 2018 Masters?

-1 to -5: +285
-6 to -10: +125
-10 or better: +185
Even par or worse: +1000

In the last 10 Masters, the worst winning score was 5 under (Danny Willett in 2016).

Will there be a hole-in-one in 2018 Masters? Yes: -140 | No: +110

There have only been 28 all time, but four of those happened in the last two years.

Will the winner cry on the 18th green of 2018 Masters? Yes: +550 | No: -1000

This one is always fun to parlay with Bubba Watson winning.

Sponsor of 2018 Masters winner (logo must appear on front of hat/visor)

Taylormade: +325
Titleist: +405
Under Armour: +650
Cobra/Puma: +700
Ping: +800
Callaway: +800
PXG: +900
Other: +400

"Other" apparently includes Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Thomas Pieters, Tony Finau, Jason Day and Paul Casey, who are all Nike. That's a pretty good list!

Who will the winner hug first in 2018 Masters? (excluding caddie)

Child: +225
Parent: +605
Wife/Girlfriend: +165
Wife holding child: +305
No hug: +825

Parent would be a good one for Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas.

Top senior

Fred Couples: +165
Bernhard Langer: +340
Vijay Singh: +340
Jose Maria Olazabal: +775
Mark O'Meara: +1400
Sandy Lyle: +1435
Larry Mize: +1435
Ian Woosnam: +1440

There is about a zero percent chance these are current odds.

All this talk about Westwood has me wondering why he did not get a special exemption to play this year.

This is a very small Masters field.
They gave a special exemption to Shubhankar Sharma.
I know he played well for a couple of weeks... and then got smoked in the Match play and missed the cut in Houston.

Why not give one to Westwood??
Or Stricker? Leading the SPGA tour money list
Or Miguel Angel Jimenez? Just to watch him warm up

There are only 97 players in this years Masters, and some of those are past champs with no shot at winning

I know this is the most prestigious tournament to win, but it isnt even close to being the most difficult

You serious???? I understand your point about some past champions... But come on.. they call THE MASTERS for A reason... If it was as easy as you say Tiger would have at least 10 green Jackets.......

I don't doubt that the article was posted recently, I just don't believe those are current odds. No way are you getting anyone at 10/1 to win, and then +500 to top ten or +260 to top 20. That just doesn't match up.
