The British open did not start doing the super hard course in modern times until the US Open lead the way.
America didn't start playing golf until the Scottish showed us how. The Open > US Open.

Morning wave tomorrow looks to have the favorable weather.

What an absolute turd of a round for Bryson, not a single birdie so far
It’s an absolutely goddawful course fit for him. Not sure why / if anyone was seriously expecting much from him this week.
And his Open record is trash. I wouldn’t put it past him to figure it out one of these years, but until proven otherwise…

He admitted this week he’s still trying to figure out links golf. Outside of St Andrews in 2022 he’s never played well there
He also said he wants to build a big 400 yard hangar/tent to practice shots with the wind

The Open has always relied on weather to be difficult. But the weather has showed up for at least a few days more often than not.
Paddy won at +3 in 2008
Cink won at -2 in 2009
Even prime Tiger shot +1 in 2003 when Ben Curtis won at -1.
Calling it the British Open makes no sense either.

The slow play shite is getting ridiculous. The only way to stop it is to start popping guys. There’s quite literally no consequence. Has anybody actually gotten a stroke since my boy Guan Tianglang like 15 years ago?

Rory’s drop was such a joke. Crazy that they’re allowed to do that.

is tiger ever going to try to play competitive golf again.
I dont mean play well I just mean will he ever enter another PGA event?
you would think he would play in some majors ,has his health set him back again or is he just not playing because he thinks hes not good enough to win. he strikes me as a guy thats so competitive and so legacy driven that he will refuse to let anyone see him miss cut after cut after cut
