Have we talked about Koepka?

if he would have putted better yesterday he probably wins.

Koepka is insane right now, its unfathamable.

I guess it's more infuriating having to watch Rose take 8 minutes to miss a birdie putt that means nothing, another 5 minutes to make a par putt that means nothing, and then watching him walk his ball in on that par putt like he's Tiger winning a major. Especially after watching Rose slow walk an over 5 hour mediocre round in the US Open.

It means a lot more than nothing. Staying at -7 vs -6 is worth a lot of money. This is his job.

That putt was for solo 3rd, and essentially $250K

He lost strokes to the field putting Thursday and Friday. If he putts decent those days he’s golden.

And you don't know much about golf.

What makes you say that?

Pebble Beach showed its teeth today, but Woodland dropped some massive cojones all over the course at the end.

We can tell you don’t watch much golf. Every shot matters regardless if he is in contention. A birdie would’ve given Rose solo 3rd which would’ve resulted in more earnings, more fedex cup points, and affect his WGR.

Good to see Gary Woodland win our nation’s championship in USA shoes while Justin Rose crumbled like redcoats normally do.

Damn that’s great for Gary....seems like such a good dude. Surprised Koepka couldn’t put more pressure on him on the back..some uncharacteristically loose shots for Brooks.

All pro golf should happen pacific time zone.

Waking up early for The Open is also good. Breakfast beer and links golf.

A little FYI. Woodland finished runner-up to Koepka over the winter at the event in Korea. Schauffele finished T3rd today. He ran down Woodland in the final round of the Tournament of Champions with a final round 62 earlier this year. To quote Michael Palin in A Fish Called Wanda, Revenge, Revenge.

I get bitching about his slow play, but those putts were more than “nothing.” A birdie would have put him in lone 3rd and that par kept him in a tie for 3rd vs dropping to T6. There was a good bit of money at play and he probably has incentives in his sponsorship contracts for top 5 finishes in a major.

This was a good golf tournament, not a good US Open

If it would have been sunny and windy for 4 days it would have been a great US Open.

Pebble doesn’t have enough teeth when the wind isn’t blowing. I vote for a 4 course rota of WF, Oakmont, Shinny, and bethpage
