Tiger shooting -1 with his iron play was pretty remarkable.

Putter was money.

Unless the stat was wrong, Justin was 9/18. His putting was just unreal.

Yep, 10/14 fairways and 11 one-putts today. One awful shot away from a very good round. He seemed to come up short w his irons quite a bit today which is very unlike him to struggle with distance control on his irons

When his back is tight this is what happens. He can’t get all the way down and compress the ball as much as he normally does. Probably helps his driving some though

He didn't say anything about his back being tight today and said he just didn't have it today. He did say his back was a little tight at the PGA but he felt better at the Memorial. It honestly sounds like you're just quoting what he said after the Memorial. He still played a good round and was hitting his irons fine until his double bogey. And he was striping his irons and fairway metals of the tee today, so I don't think it had anything to do with him being tight.

What did y’all think about the conditions yesterday? Some guys were saying they expected them to firm up the greens some today since it played so easy.

17 eagles yesterday which is a US open record

once the weather changes and it firms up the squares will begin on the scorecards.

Scott and Jason Day both think -5 will win, they all think the course is about to bite back.

My body is ready.

There's been so much rain in California that is going to be hard to get the greens going like they want no matter what they do. Without the wind, it's completely defenseless and it looks like it's going to be calm again. I think we'll see some more 66s and 65s.
