Welcome to what we adults like to call “real life.”

Well I didn't like standing up for the pledge and reciting it every morning during school, but I half-assed my way through it. The American way by gawd.

Why do the boosters give a frick? It's a song, I dont care if LSU players stay for the alma mater or not.
Boosters pay the bills. I care. It’s one of the few ways the players can show appreciation to the students who plan a day around the activity and scream their asses off.

Let’s see if any of these woke players put their money where their mouth is and refuse to play. Bet money they’ll all be out there.

Nothing like a man who can't afford lodging, gets invited into the home of a stranger free of charge to stay as long as they'd like...
...and then proceeds to try and change the home, rearrange the furniture and screw the wife.
Don't like UT's traditions, well then get the frick out.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you scholarship athletes.

This is still the US, they do not have to do what these rich white folks say, I which every black foot ball player would put their name in the portal and transfer to another university and you want to wager how many games Texas would win and how many folks will attend football games after the team goes zero wins with 6 losses by mid season.

Well I mean the boosters like to win and see a successful football program. The boosters don't pay for football facilities out of the kindness of their hearts, they do it because they wanna win. I bet a lot of boosters would choose winning a natty over singing a song.

Why do the donors want the players to HAVE to stand for it?
Because what the McCombs want, the McCombs get. They write the checks. If Red told them to whistle Dixie, they'd damn well do it.

You can take the entire amateur thing and throw it out the window.
If your boss tells you to do something at work you do it, get fired or quit. It’s the same exact premise here. If they want to keep their scholarship do it. If they don’t leave.

I agree they do not have to. But if they do not want to do what the university says, leave. It’s really that simple.
If you do not like where you work, you stay their and suck it up and do your job or leave.

You know sometimes people just need a dose of reality. Sometimes you can have your opinion and it doesn’t matter. A coach might ask for a player’s input on certain things, but in others, their opinion doesn’t matter. If the players do not like it, leave. It’s like Trump said: “In this country we have many freedoms. One of those freedoms is to be offended”.
While I’m on a roll I have one last thing to say. I do not watch the NBA anymore. But on this message board you see things famous athletes say. Lebron gives his political views and was upset when Laura Ingraham said he should shut up and dribble and then he didn’t like when the soccer player said something about him giving his political opinion. When Lebron is at a strip club does he want the strippers political views or does he just want them to perform?

When grown men started fighting over them to go to their school on Twitter. When they started making a big deal about them not only putting on the hat of the team they are signing with, but making some big production where they throw the other team's hat and show their arse when they've never even played a down of college football.

The University/boosters and the like give ground here, and it wont stop. Look at that idiot Marxist mayor in Portland. He acquiesced to the degenerate mob to appease them, and days later they stormed his condo. These are teenagers, and young men barely in their 20's. They do not call the shots.
If they want to make demands, they can grow up, make millions on their own, turn around and become influential boosters themselves and change the rules.

You guys are morons. If every talented player transferred out and none would come to Texas every single one of those booster would a abandon the university
