Tate is everything that is right about Barstool - maybe the only thing at this point

Before the season, he put out a “if Ohio State loses” grid.
He’s spent 13 hours at a McDonald’s today dressed as Ronald McDonald, all while collecting $30k for ALS. No one else at that company comes close to that commitment.

Last year he had for the Texas punishment was to ride a bull. His fiancée veto’d it this year. Would have loved to see him try to ride a bull, but he did a great job today. Everything he does for barstool is a success. He’s one of the best content guys in the whole company.

Some of these are pretty good. Rooting for an Iowa loss. Knowing Iowa it would be 9 hours but I'd still find it funny.

I should’ve clarified - I was talking about his commitment to content. Spent Monday in a McDonald’s and is heading to Oxford this weekend to document Ben Mentz. When it comes to views and interaction - there’s Tate and everyone else when it comes to Barstool.

Tate is for sure one of the best things going on at bar stool.
He makes the others around him a lot better.
I’d also say Big Kat is also very entertaining still which isn’t easy to do it that long. Meanwhile Portnoy is just annoying with his act. Portnoy does give a lot of money to charity and supporting communities like he did with Covid. However, his actual content is Paul finebaum level trolling at this point.

Goddamn thank you. I love what Portnoy has done for charities and I think in his heart he’s a pretty good guy, but his schtick as being the over the top “crazy guy homer” with big opinions has gotten super old.

Walker puts in work but it’s different from Tate. They are both good in their own ways. Walker is all podcast/talk show. Tate is more random content. Whether it’s Barstool after Dark or documenting another coworker on a trip. Tate has found his niche for sure.
