Paraphrasing the immortal words of Vince Vaughn as Beanie Campbell, “Grandpa was old. That’s what old people do, they die.”

But seriously it’s “sad” when 80+ and 90+ year olds die but, I mean cmon. I can’t believe the risk of that is really something you’re going to hang your hat on when deciding policy for a bunch of people in the prime of their lives

There’s more than just 18-21 year old players. Coaches, refs, stadium staff, etc.

If you haven’t been paying attention the last year, all the measures put in place everywhere are about slowing/stopping the spread, without regard for the specific individual risk.

Bobby Bowden survived this shite, for God's sake. Anyone who is still scared of the rona is a fricking brainwashed pussy.

I had it a few months ago. I've had colds that were worse.

You are a retard if you actually believe that 500,000 people have died because of China virus.

What a fricking bad take. It's about doing their best to not get their asses sued if a player catches Covid and passes it to an old person or person with a weak immune system

Then stay inside and leave everyone else alone. No need to share your affection through authoritarian measures.

I pity people like you for wasting a year of your life with almost nothing to show for it. For all of your empathy, the ridiculous measures that accompany your sentiments seem to accomplish very little.

theres a difference between not wearing masks personally and bitching about the rules NCAA put in place so that we could have March Madness in the first place. VCU wasn't gonna win the whole thing anyway, who cares. if a 10 seed forfeiting is the price i have to pay to have March Madness i'm fine with it.

It's the hyperbolic downplaying of the virus that is annoying. just because you don't believe its that bad doesn't make 20 year olds immune to it. i have a friend that is 26 that has been in the hospital for 65 days with it. they are covering their asses against those outlier cases with the rules they have put in place.

Not anywhere near as annoying as leftist politicians and their cultist followers treating this virus with a 99.7% survival rate like it is the bubonic plague.

I find the delusions of those that think we’ve made headway against COVID with ridiculous rules and regulations equally as annoying, to be honest.

How callous can one person be?

This over 'multiple' positive tests. No number just more than one. How far do they go with tracing after a positive is found? Do they sit the refs too? And if not why not?

Oh yeah real authoritarian for an organization to make it's own policies. I swear some of yall read half of 1984 and compare it to anytime something prevents you from doing something you like

NCAA can do whatever they want, and yeah I’m going to mock them, but authoritarian isn’t the apt label for that behavior.

The authoritarian label is me making an extrapolation from what I’ve read to how this person probably feels about the government at large.

Far more annoying when people like you screech sheep while shouting stupid shite like 99.7% when that's factually incorrect.

But hey who should we trust the CDC or some people with degrees from Facebook and Google University

It's a stupid saying regardless so you couldn't go to the movies for a bit while the world was trying to figure out what the frick we were dealing with and now when we're trying to make sure there are no more major spikes while we deal the pandemic the death blow

There’s outlier cases for every disease known to man

The people acting like they care when people would show up to work or school with flu or other illnesses is beyond laughable.

Its beyond time to go back to regular 2019 life

We do not agree, and the rules created from this mentality didn’t work.
