In fairness, the timing of this was almost perfect with a new commish taking over. Silver took action the first time it became an issue.

i get that people say that tons of the comparisons being made are not applicable, but im not sure why. if people associated with the league have private conversations about racism, homophobia, etc... are they in danger of being banned from the league as well? im serious. why is that not an ok comparison? are they gonna have to evaluate the degree of the hate speech? what do you do if that happens?

People are literally losing their goddamn minds over something a man said in his own privacy and people have no problem with that being violated because they disagree with what he said.
He may be a POS and a racist but I hope Sterling sues and wins and sends people a clear message they can't force him to do something he doesn't want to do with his property. The lack of respect for property rights is disgusting.
