Stanford fires head football coach Troy Taylor

Wouldnt this be something the AD or University president would have done in the past? Guess they’re just glorified fundraisers now

Their AD left a month ago. May or may not be related, not sure. At Stanford the university president might not know football exists.

I saw Taylor play when he was at Cal. Four-year starter and threw for over 8,000 yards. Drafted by the Jets and only played in a handful of games.
I hope Luck can find a HC who can turn the program around to the glory days of 5 and 6-win seasons. The one selling point that Stanford has is that it’s the top-rated FBS school academically and has a strong alumni presence in Silicon Valley.
