You can find actual gloves of Hank Aaron from his record season for a couple grand. Hell you can get a 715 ticket stub signed by Hank Aaron himself graded a PSA 10 for under 20K.

A batting glove signed by the person on deck is a very cool piece but not remotely worth 50K.

Depends on how much someone is willing to pay for it. But I'll never know.

Michael Jordan signed my late grandmother's caddy badge.

My grandmother caddied for him at a pro-am in SoCal back in 1998.

I don't have a ton of stuff, but I have a signed Ken Griffey Jr jersey from the 1997 All star game, the game that he won MVP. I also have a white bengals signed game helmet with Burrow, Chase, and Higgins.

I have some signed cards and stuff I've acquired over the years, nothing really crazy, I guess my prized possession would be my signed Jim Thome Indians jersey from the world series in 1997. 97 was a good year for my signed stuff.

Mostly LSU memorabilia. Billy Cannon and YA Tittle signed retro helmets, replica BCS title trophies, replica Biilly Cannon Heisman trophy, all the Waterford helmets/balls from football and baseball championships, team issued shoes (what I believe team issued at least), a few pair of Nike vapor gloves from years ago.

Here are my best sports cards. My kids got me back into collecting a few years ago. Thankfully bought the Ohtanis before he went nuclear.

As the saying goes from the Memorabilia industry....

Most sports memorabilia is about "as real as ocean front property in Arizona”

Unless signed in front of you and you took a picture.

I have a pair of boxing gloves Roy Jones wore in a title defense.

The gloves are signed by Roy, Bernard Hopkins, and Evander Holyfield (all signed on seperate occasions)

When I was about eight years old, I was just getting to be a huge LSU fan. My Uncle, who was in college, had gone to high school with a starter on the previous year's team. He knew him pretty well, so he took me to the guy's house to get his autograph. He was nice enough, and signed my souvenir LSU program, but Vietnam was going on and all he wanted to do was talk with my uncle about Vietnam, the draft, etc. My uncle had recently taken his draft physical and been medically disqualified for some reason and the guy was very interested in that. Even a little kid like me could clearly see he didn't want to go.

He didn't want to talk about football at all. I went away a little disappointed. But I got the autograph. I still have it around somewhere.

1953 Boston Red Sox team signed baseball.

Inherited from my father. He didn't preserve it well.

I have an American League ball dating to 1921, as the Yankees had a spring training in first St. Louis, then Hot Springs, then Shreveport, before traveling to Galveston for their spring training home. When there, my grandfather shagged a ball hit over the fence (he couldn't afford a ticket) and waiting with his brother outside the clubhouse and got Ruth's autograph. He passed this down to me.

Everything is for sale, but at this point in life the money wouldn't really mean anything to me. It's slated to stay in my safe deposit box and pass to one of my sons.

But if I was in a bind, sure. But it wouldn't be cheap. I was offered a considerable five-figures for it in 1992 by a Giants executive and turned it down. He badgered me for ten years and finally gave up.

Hey, you keep it and pass it on to your son. I’m on the hunt for a Ruth ball, but this one seems special to ya and even tho I’d offer 5 figures for it, i’d feel terrible to take it from you if you accepted. Seems to be better for it to stay in your family

It has a nice story to it. Much better than if it was purchased at auction.

I have a few items not as extensive as some of you but my top ones personally are
1) original Dome patrol poster signed by jackson, swilling, mills, vaughn . Grandma’s neighbor was beat reporter back in day and she gave it to me as Xmas present. When I was 11.

2) signed Shaq jersey from his lsu days.

3) signed baseball from every lsu national title team

4) turf from Tiger stadium from UF 97, ( have that ticket stub signed by Kevin Faulk alsopost 2019 Tennessee 200, and couple more turf .

5) also from my younger days I have 20 signed old pro wrestling illustrated magazines signed by sting, hogan, flair, macho man, hall, Nash etc.

After slamboree 1996 that was in BR was in high school we somehow made our way into the old raddison hotel bar( crown plaza) off college and got to hang out with all the guys. 16 year old me was in awe to have “partied” with the nature boy ric flair!
