I’d think with the same kind of training and dedication, there’s no reason a woman couldn’t become a world class jockey.

It seems to me that they have a natural ability when it comes to riding.

None.

There will be intellectual or physiological advantages for one gender or the other-- note there are two total genders-- that will give one an advantage over the other, in the aggregate.

The first impulse after acknowledging this, is to move to competitions where a third party scores the performances, but this is subject to the same biochemical differences plus those of the judges as the direct competition.

I think he meant shortening it for the women only. Men would still dominate. PGA pin positions would eat the women alive. Totally different from LPGA greens.

Bahahah

The use of the term “slapper” has me dying. Are you a 46 year old mom?

Where athleticism/physicality is actually a factor? Bowling is the right answer, a woman has actually won one of the 5 "majors" on the PBA tour.

1 out of how many years’ worth? That just proves the point that men are superior.

Even the things you think would have gender equality, don’t. You’d think women could drive race cars like men, yet Danica got lots of pub for being pretty mid. Title IX has been a thing for half a century now.

Even when male brute strength is taken out of the equation they still have better focus and functional strength. Even in pool, men put more English on the ball.

It's not just a softball term, there's historical precedent for players with 0 power and subpar defense making it to the show and having long careers as slap hitters with elite speed. Juan Pierre and Otis Nixon are 2 obvious examples. This theoretical player may not have elite speed, but they wouldn't be a liability either=

5'10 175 lbs average mlb strength average mlb speed/athleticism generational hand eye coordination with 15 years working with a college coach 24/7 on player development? They're going to be a low level college player at worst with those traits, hell the girl that played D1 for Brown(yes she was trash, that's irrelevant) wasn't nearly that gifted

That field was 1 woman vs 62 men. Discounting relative skill level, the men should win should >98/100 tournaments based on sheer probability

What woman EVER would have average MLB strength and average MLB athleticism? And you listed two players that analytics would have taken out of the game these days.

In billiards the men’s events are “open” events with both men and women competing, and there are separate women’s events.

The women still don’t win (or cash much) in major events. But there is one Chinese woman ranked in the top 100 (ranked 88th). She would still be a heavy 1.5:1 per rack underdog to the top 25 players in the world.

So billiards is much closer than probably any other sport, but even that is not really there.
