How in the hell is Richardson considered a 1st round pick. From what I saw he was very inconsistant and inaccurate as a passer. If he is to become an NFL QB it will take a couple of years of benchwarming and he better have a great OC and QB coach on his team.

All of this.

He wasn’t even functional as a starter for UF and you want to use a 1st on him?

You would have to go all in like Philly or Baltimore with your system to build around him with any chance of success.

I thought teams overvalued QBs because of their physical tools, but Josh Allen has proven me and others wrong

And he’s the exception to the rule. We’re going to have people reaching on players like Richardson for the next 5-10 years because of Josh Allen’s success.

For every Josh Allen, there are 8 Blaine Gabbert’s or Christian Ponder’s or Mitchell Trubisky’s.

Anthony Richardson is much more likely to a slightly more athletic version of those guys than a Josh Allen clone.

It's a great year to be qb headed to the draft. Weak class with a slew of desperate teams. Levis and Richardson about to get paid, warranted of not.

In the 3rd round, I would love to take the chance on a player like him, but I just don't see him being a QB at the NFL level. I love the athletic profile, but unless his accuracy improves drastically, he won't make it as a QB. Really reminds me of Tyrelle Pryor.

I kind of feel bad for Richardson, even as a likely first round pick. The good franchises capable of developing him wouldn’t draft him before Day 3, meaning he’s going to end up on some bad QB needy team who will rush him out onto the field with basically no chance of success.

IMHO, Richardson’s best chance in the NFL is to take the Taysom Hill role. Play some TE, RB and wildcat QB. Not sure if he’d be like Tebow and refuse that role though.

I’ll just say it now. Anthony Richardson is trash. I don’t care about his special tools, he’s trash and will not amount to anything.

Not a bad idea. I don't know if he drops that far though

Based off of what exactly? Did you watch him this year? He’s fricking terrible

Yeah, so? The NFL drafts on potential. We always see terrible college QBs going high in the draft.

We do, but Richardson would be an extreme case.

Is he any more extreme than Josh Allen was? Trey Lance?
