So U-High is the best team in the state, regardless of classification?

Quite the resume for a small school -

Beat 5A Champion Zachary 26-7
Beat Div I Champion Catholic-BR 34-6
Beat Division II Runner-up De La Salle 45-19 (De La Salle beat 4A Champ Karr)
Beat 3A Champion West Feliciana 63-35

I guess the only question is whether they're better than Catholic-NI or Welsh?

That's like the high school equivalent of what LSU did in 2011.

That's a hell of a resume.

only if one of those teams blew out U-high in the championship game. So no, its not the high school equivalent of what LSU did in 2011.

Definitely. They should probably be nationally ranked.

Apparently all of their best players are juniors/soph, so they will likely run the table again next year as well.

Watching the broadcast of the championship game, looks like they have a number of children of former LSU players on the team as well. Apparently Ryan Clark's son is a sophomore and will be a national recruit. The running back and WR/DB look like legit D1 players as well.

Clark is a junior. He has a bunch of offers. Mississippi State, Pitt type teams so far.

The son of Reggie Tongue who played in the NFL a long time is on the team too. He didn't play at lsu though. The kid transferred from Dunham I think.

I don't know of the other former players' sons they have
