Lafayette Christian opened like 5 years ago and just went straight to factory mode. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even hold classes.

I think they've been around for like 10-11 years, but they've only been serious about football for a handful. They were playing football as early as 2006, but it wasn't with the LHSAA IIRC.

I thought DLS was the best in the state. That run UHigh went on at the end of the 3rd quarter was unbelieveable. Blew the game open. Also, Gums playing hurt definetly was a factor.

Now... when will the investigations of UHigh start?

It’s been “investigated”, esp when Dylan Moses transferred in, 2nd semester to Uhigh from Broadmoor

A seat “opened up”.

National rankings are a fricking joke. I saw one that had them at 168 or something like that. They had John Curtis as the highest ranked louisiana tream at a couple spots higher.

Of course they are. I mean, think of the sheer # of high schools across the county. There's no way, in my opinion, that anyone could for sure pick the top 50 teams in the country much less a "national champion."

rankings might be a joke, but its a fact that the top team in Louisiana is up there no matter what you use to determine them

That's because U-High doesn't play out of state teams

They travel out of state and play quality opponents

Nice one.

But, seriously, it seems that USA Today has crowned them overall state champions.

It looks like in a single month, they beat the defending Division IV champion, the new Division I champion, the new Class 3A champion, and the new Class 5A champion by a combined score of 158 to 64. Not bad...

USA Today has no business ranking Louisiana high school football teams IMO

Yes they are and they will be the best next year too with everyone coming back, their speed was notable against everyone they played.
