So I'm just tuning into Wilder/Fury hype. Question: Why is Wilder booed at weigh-in?

Weigh-in was in Vegas.
Wilder is from the US. Tuscaloosa actually. Fury from England. I'm pulling for the SEC over England.
At the Weigh-Ins, the crowd was way more Pro-Fury.
Was their a shitload more English at the weigh-ins or does no one like Wilder?

Yeah the English folks love to travel and follow their guys to these big events in the States.

Fury is probably more popular in the US.

The Irish travel for McGregor so it makes sense.
I doubt the locals in Vegas attend a lot of weigh-ins

Just a lot of lymies in the crowd, nothing more.

No one dares to mention the elephant in the room?

I don’t think it is that at all. Wilder is a great fighter, but he doesn’t have a huge personality and is more comfortable being the “angry” guy. Fury has a more likable personality. But in the US where black athletes are celebrated her more than in any other country, feel free to interject race into the discussion

Yea, they know...

Race matters none to me.
I will ALWAYS pull for the American.
Kick his arse Wilder.

The Brittish travel very well for these type of events. They get behind their boxers. Not shocked it was pro fury. Aussies are also big on backing their mates in events.
You will find a group of them, yelling and screaming for their mates even in games like Poker.

It has nothing to do with race you liberal piece of shite. Everyone knows Fury won the first fight and was robbed . Plus Fury has a larger than life personality and is extremely charismatic. His entire life story is incredible especially his comeback story and how he battled severe depression and drug abuse. Yet all you see is race. frick you.

I met Wilder at the Tuscaloosa Sam's club just a couple of years ago. Probably around the time of his first few fights with Stiverne.
Nice guy. Seemed humble to me.
Further, from what I hear at his boxing gym in town, he's always teaching the art of boxing to the youth and really trying to help them get better
