Do you have any evidence to support this opinion or are you just throwing shite at a wall and hoping it sticks?

He's right;
And he didn't get a 35% tax cut 3 years ago like the owners did.

Unless you live in the Rays market? Then you probably see one after every game he pitches in.

Dude could’ve made his point about not liking the split without the ridiculous risking his life bullshite.

The amount of sports fans who side with the a-hole owners is appalling. Owners want players to share the losses but not reap the gains. frick them.

Not a good look when many grocery store employees, Home Improvement employees, and fast food workers are struggling hour by hour and he does not want to play for millions in a much more controlled environment

but the owners look good

the owners never allow the players to share the profits, but want to have a 50/50 split in what will be an apocalyptic seaon in regards to revenue

I don't know many companies where the employees share the profits, I know plenty where the employees share the losses by not getting bonuses, fired, or reduction of hours though.

Both sides are going to effectively kill baseball though. If they miss the year and football comes back, people will lose interest next season.

Agreed. They need to figure something out because other sports appear to be figuring things out and coming back. This will end up being worse than the strike year if they don't. It's a very, very bad look.

this is the problem with not collectively bargaining the split of revenue unlike other sports

Players union only has itself to blame for letting Clark represent them.

Um no, it won't. If a strike that cancelled the World Series didn't kill the sport, I highly doubt cancelling a season due to a worldwide pandemic would.

Whose fault is that? It sure is not the owners fault. You thinking the players deserving more of revenues is laughable. At most they deserve 45%, certainly not more than the 50 they want. MLBPA forgets there will be revenues without with them not playing, as the owners will find people who will play at a lesser rate.

Or I’m just a big baseball fan who happens to watch the MLB Network a lot?

Well during that time you had less entertainment than you do now. Ratings are going to tank and the players hitting FA in the future aren't going to see those big contracts for awhile again.

They wouldn't be cancelling bc of a pandemic. They would be cancelling bc they couldn't figure out the money during a shortened season. In this time, the common man is furloughing, laid off, or working their arse off to keep their head above water, and it won't sit well that these guys (owners and players) can't figure it out.
