Spoiled Snell

Claims risk of Covid-19 is not worth the risk of playing for a reduced salary of $5 million.

Not a good look when many grocery store employees, Home Improvement employees, and fast food workers are struggling hour by hour and he does not want to play for millions in a much more controlled environment

So he wants a normal salary for a short season?

Sounds like an arrogant prick

That's his choice. And his choice will likely result in making $0 instead

The irony in this quote when those who like spewing this shite love sucking off a billionaire President who would likely never have anything to do with them in open public is pretty rich.

I'm sure there will be others. The big question is whether or not everyone is willing to walk away from a payday this year - my guess is that it's unlikely.

Smart man, play for $5 million or play for $0 million. Did he go to BU with AOC?

Baseball players already agreed to a prorated salary.

Revenue split is owners trying to circumvent the labor deal.

I edited - I was thinking about the way a pitchers arm is stretched out over the course of a normal season vs a shortened one, but he is referring only to the virus which is lame AF

Yet, when players want to renegotiate deals because they "outperformed the contract," the liberal sports media is among the first to say the team should rip up his contract and give him a new one.

Both sides suck, but I'll side with the billionaires here. The players are getting paid millions to play a sport. If they don't want to do that, "well, the world needs ditch diggers, too!"

They’ll do whatever the union tells them to do. There’s a reason MLB players are much better off financially than NFL or NBA players. The union sticks together and isn’t scared to lose games or even a season.

Real Americans like Peter Alonso will probably play for his already less than value salary and donate a portion of it to help first responders and those in need. LFGM
