These threads are always funny. Everyone is cool with it if it happens to an SEC player but anyone outside it's deemed crazy as shite. As if the NFL is 100% SEC players.

Mussberger riding Manti's dick = blasphemy!

Gary Danielson sucking every SEC player's dick who isn't a bench warmer = he tells it like it is!

GTFO with that bullshite.

Wait until he actually does something of significance before comparing him to Ray Lewis.

Lewis, short of going back to Lambert, Tatum, Lott and Butkus etc. is the scariest motherf#%ker I've ever seen play. I don't even like him, but I'll acknowledge him.

Skip is being a troll, as uze.

So Te'o is going to be a pontificating media whore, too?

After looking at the stats I was shocked he is getting serious consideration. His junior year is more worthy of Heisman consideration than his senior season.

he has 7 INTs, with 3-4 coming in their biggest games. How can people not understand this is a huge stat?

He doesn't play for LSU, Alabama, Florida, or UGA

Most of his picks are on tipped balls? And that's bad?

He has forced 8 turnovers this year. 7 INTs. Here's a few newsflashes:

1. Please find another college LBs with 7 INTs. This year or in the last 10 years. Please, go look and let me know what you find. I doubt you'll find much, if any.
2. You have to have pretty good instincts and a nose for the ball to have that many picks.
3. He's non existent in run support? he has 100 plus tackles. From what I've seen, he does a great job taking on blocks and in his run fits. If anything most teams ran to the boundary side and away from him but he still made tackles.

Is he the greatest player ever? No. But he is a one helluva player and the most productive ILB in the country.

Since you're throwing out stats, how many sacks does he have?

he's a LB, and unless he's blitzing, sacks is pretty useless. he plays in coverage much more as his INT #'s show. He's not rushing on passing situations

Brandon Spikes will have a more significant NFL career than Te'o IMO and I agree Te'o is probably more like Malaugua (sp) than freaking Ray Lewis..

Jones, Minter, and Mosely are all better than Te'o imo. He's a good player though.

Great comparison IMO. Good at reading plays/formations, plays sideline to sideline, shows a ton of passion for the game, natural and emotional leader. But I guess you could say the same about any good MLB.

This is way over most of their heads.

And If he does not play in the SEC, he sucks arse. Just remember that from now on.

Tony Taylor (UGA) in 2006.

Only we weren't undefeated that year - we were 9-4 with losses to Vandy and Kentucky.
