I thought this was another thread about run support (they won 7-0).

The game ended 7-0. The game was a shutout and pitched 6 shutout innings. ER - 0

Anyone who follows pro baseball understands he is 1A or 1B pitcher right now with Skubal. Not sure how he could possibly be underrated

He blew a 4-0 lead last week giving up 4 in 5IP vs the Rockies.

They just started contract extension talks the other day.

Skenes would look great in a Braves uniform

The team gets credit for a shutout but Skenes does not. A pitcher must throw a complete game to be credited with a shutout.

I’ve always heard that “a complete game shutout”

Skenes is winning the NL Cy Young this year.

It was his 47th start of his career, and the first time a team got 7 hits off of him. 7 hits and they didn't score, or even have a runner reach 3rd base.
It's the longest streak to start a career. Next closest was Ohtani at 31 games.
Next closest streak for any length of time of starts not allowing 7+ hits was by Sonny Gray. I don't remember the exact number of games they said on the broadcast for Gray, but i think it was about 40.
i saw it said somewhere else, but it has some truth to it. A bad start from Skenes means its taking him 6 or 7 pitches to strike guys out instead of 3-5.

If his record gets to .500, lead pipe cinch.

Sanchez is doing something special for Philly right now. Probably will end up being the only 20+ game winner in NL with an ERA below 2.00

It’s going to happen this year

Almost mathematically impossible for this to happen

Probably not
