He wasn't that sharp early on. Cincinnati had their chance and blew it. Skenes is starting to build that aura of invincibility around him. Kind of like Koufax, Carlton, Gibson, Ryan, etc. You knew you were beat before you even got to the ball park. Too bad Skenes intimidates the Pirates bullpen, just like the other team, if not more so.

If he ends up deserving the Cy Young at end of year he should get it - regardless of record
If the other numbers are there W/L shouldn't matter it's not under his control
