I thought Tua had a great arm in college. Was I not paying attention or is he just scared in the NFL?

I'm sure Tua will be better than he looks so far but the craziest thing to me is how little he looks.

It’s amazing what can happen when your team doesn’t have a positional advantage across the board at every single position...

The only scenario that the Dolphins should consider taking a QB in the first round is if Wilson falls to the 18th overall pick. Drafting /moving up to take Fields or Wilson with a top 3 overall pick after drafting a QB in the top 5 the previous year would be borderline retarded and the sign of a very dysfunctional organization.

See Matt Leinhart. Also, buyers beware on Mac Jones

I don't remember if I heard it through another poster on here, during a broadcast, or somewhere else, but Tua waits for WRs to be Alabama open (i.e. wide open) and not NFL open.

It's too early to write off Tua Tagovailoa, but the Miami Dolphins should still draft a top quarterback

quote:

When we run simulations for career outcomes for Tagovailoa and the No. 3 pick together, we see that chance that either ends up a 50th percentile franchise quarterback rises to 55% from 32% with Tagovailoa alone. And the chance that a truly elite 75th percentile outcome occurs, like Tony Romo or Andrew Luck, more than doubles to 21% from 10%. There’s even a material chance that both quarterbacks hit at least the 50th percentile, leaving the Dolphins with a trade asset down the road potentially worth more than the bounty they could have received for trading out of the No. 3 pick.

quote:

Implementing this dual-quarterback approach won’t be easy, but that shouldn't be enough to stop the Dolphins from maximizing their chance to fill the most critical role in football. Teams don’t often have the opportunity to draft legitimate top QB prospects, and currently having a question mark at the position from the last draft isn't a good reason to pass on doing so. The Dolphins are playoff competitive with mediocre quarterback play this season, and their ability to max out wins with the roster will primarily be determined by locking in the highest possible level of play at the position. That’s why they shouldn’t hesitate to turn in the card for a top quarterback prospect if the opportunity presents itself in the 2021 draft.

Yes. They are playing with house money with the Texans pick and Tua isn’t good.

I believe you’re talking about last week in the broadcast. Romo kept saying he’s waiting on players to get college open. In the nfl, there is a big difference. Look I think the kid has a lot of talent, but he’s not playing with superior talent. He never will. The guys on the other side are pros just like his guys will be.

This is a reason I think some of the Bama players haven’t been as good as advertised in the pros. That being said, Henry is an absolute beast. Love watching him run late in a game.

Tua was never going to be anything but a bust, wasted draft pick

This guy thought LSU would be good this year. He also thought they didn’t have massive problems.

He was oblivious to LSU being a dumpster fire.

But LSU is a dumpster fire.

And the miami dolphins might have drafted the wrong QB.

LSU fans are ****s.

Yep. This is why I'm not on the Trevor Lawrence hype train.
