You mean should he be fired for losing to a superior team?
There's no way to run 3 quarters of clock out to win a game when you are up 24-0.

I agree with this premise.
It's not like his call to fake the punt or the decision to kick the field goal instead of attempting to convert a 4th & 1 would have made a difference in this game.
If they had lost by one or two scores, then it would be reasonable to say he blew the game, but a 20 point loss kind of takes the importance away from those two calls.

OBrien has had plenty of time.
He can’t get Houston past one round. He just can’t. Meanwhile Watson is just burning another year.

What if his team is doing well despite him? This was the guy that drafted Watson and then in the same offseason annointed Tom Savage as the heir apparent in Houston.
The Texans are in such a tough position as an organization. They do just well enough to keep their coach, but that roster has serious issues and the window on a rookie quarterback contract is rapidly closing. They lack talent at DE with holes all over the secondary. At least they shored up their OL.
JJ Watt is an injury waiting to happen. In the last four years he has had one healthy season. Three of those seasons he played in 3, 5 and 8 games.
They have given away draft capital to win now, but don't have the pieces to win now.

Should have been fired a million times already. Countless games they have lost just because of his coaching. His philosophy is like reading a book for coaching for dummies. Ok 3rd and 10 it's time for a draw or screen. Have a lead late we're gonna run it up the middle. Playing prevent defense always works out treat.

Are we acting like a 24-0 lead is nothing now? Houston got outscored 51-7 in a little over 2.5 quarters. That is unheard of in the NFL.

Chiefs are just a much better team and threw up on themselves to be down 24-0...Texans made two good plays as part of that but it was mostly KC derping. Our shitty pas defense and lack of a pass rush has been An issue for the entirety of O’Brien’s tenure. He should be fired because he oversees everything including personnel and he’s just not good enough to get the right coaching and talent in all phases of the game. He should be an offensive coordinator, not a head coach and certainly not a GM.

Maybe the Texans run out the clock on the Titans with a 24-0 lead but even with that scenario I think the Texans would need 34 points total to win.

I thought the fake punt was the only stupid thing he did. When they fumbled the kickoff at 24-14 the players all knew it was over.
