Yeah maybe they just want him remembered as a warrior to the end

rather than a guy who stayed a bit too long and celebrated a rapist in his final year

Why continue to play after two major injuries like that? The man doesn’t have anything left to prove and the Saints super bowl window is closing fast due to salary cap

It’s not closing fast. ITS FUC#ING CLOSED

Regardless, is it even possible to play with a torn rotator cuff or is she full of shite?

Did she clarify if the torn rotator cuff was in his throwing shoulder?

Without the Cook fumble Saints are playing with a 10 or 14 point lead going into the 4th qtr

I don’t why you guys keep assuming we were gonna score on that drive just because we scored the series before and because of a few good plays in the series. Drew was obviously off during the game. Who’s to say he doesn’t throw a pick in the redzone a couple plays later?

And regardless, if a turnover in the middle of the 3rd quarter essentially ends your game, what does it say about your offense/QB?

It makes sense that something was wrong with his shoulder because his passing was fricking terrible. Looked liked Manning his last year for the Broncos except Manning didn't cost his team.

wonder if the torn rotator cuff happened in the playoff game.

either way he needs to retire.

seemed like he pondered it last year so given everything that has happened since.. well..

And yet he stayed in the lineup instead of being on the sideline so a healthy qb could be in the game.

Brees really stretched the field with his 15 yards of arm strength.

This speaks more about the coaches than anything. In his last Super Bowl, Peyton Manning had such bad nerve pain he said his fingers were numb at times. Brees had severely limited mobility in the shoulder. The coaches know this. That just goes to show how much more they value a QB's brain than his talent. They would rather start a genius noodle arm over a rocket arm dodo brain.

Brees needed more med ball workouts to build up core strength

Good point. Needed some time in the balance rings.
