And that's fine but suggesting Duke is losing in the first round some years in order to keep the charade up so they can then have it handed to them in subsequent years??

Time to go to bed, man. Drink a glass of water, too.

Wipe the tears out of your eyes and notice that UW was called for a whopping 2 more fouls.

Name one Wisconsin player outside of Kaminsky who attacked the basket to draw fouls tonight. Dekker the vanishing act? Didn't think so. Jackson? Did he even play in the second half? Gasser? lol.

Dukan is being defended by much smaller tyus jones in the post on a switch. Dukan gets the ball and starts backing down. Jones flops. Charge is called.

What do I win? And what's the next pathetic game you have that still won't prove the refs didn't treat duke more favorably for the last 10+ minutes of this game?

Why do stats after an arbitrary stop in play mean anything?

Because of what occurred during that "arbitrary" stop in play

Yeah, Coach K proved he is the best in the game right now.

Meh, I used to think this. Not so much anymore.

you can say what you want about this call or that call.

But Wis did not attack when Dukes bigs were in foul trouble or when they were not on the court. The should have went to the Tank on every play.

The commentators were saying the same thing. Plus Wis did not try to exploit the switching defense. I saw several times a guard switched to guard a big and Wis would look at it and then pass it away.

Also if you drive to the basket you chances of drawing a foul is very very high. that is basketball 101.

Wis game plan was to get Dukes bigs in foul trouble and they did. Wis did realize they were actually better off with them in the game. bc those two freshmen guards were awesome.

...ok , gettin tired of this ... arguably Duke's 2 best players on the bench with foul trouble HALF THE DAMN GAME ... wtf . UW didn't get it done when they had the advantage , could not stretch the 9 point lead .. UW lost , Duke won . They earned it . Btw - Duke beat UW TWICE this year .. they are BETTER than UW ... end .

People seem to forget that this was the 2nd time Wisconsin lost to Duke this year. Duke is/was the better team.

FT's
Duke: 11
Wiscy: 1

4 of Dukes were in the last 30 seconds and were intentional, well 2 were, the other 2 were just stupid when down 3 with 50 seconds left.

Of the 7 attempts outside of those, 4 of them were and 1's, one was a block in the lane, the other was a foul on a layup attempt by Grayson Allen after he blew by his defender.
That's called being aggressive and getting to the rim, where fouls get called.

WHen Wisky was up 9 with 13 something left and Winslow and Okafor went to the bench, they went the next 12 minutes scoring 10 points while Duke scored 27. This is what happened:

Kaminsky turnover led to Wiskey foul on the break and then missed rebound on free throw, which led to another foul.
Hayes made 3
Hayes blocked by Jefferson
Kaminskey missed 3
Okafor comes back in with 9:30 left, misses wide open layup, then fouls Kaminskey like an idiot, and 1, and sits pretty much the rest of the game.
At this point, Wisky up 4 with 9 to play, Duke scores 2 points in next 4 minutes, Wisky 0
Jackson missed jumper early in shot clock
Dukan missed 3
Dekker missed 3, badly
Kaminsky missed turnaround jumper
Koenig missed layup
Kaminsky layup
Dekker layup, now 4 minutes left, Wisky up 2, don't score again until 1 minute left with Kaminsky's 3.

Wisconsin wasn't good on offense in the second half, nor where they aggressive at getting to the rim like Duke was, and could not guard Jones or Allen. They had all the opportunity in the world to take a bigger lead, but they let Allen and Jefferson bring Duke back while Okafor and Winslow watched.
