If they don't get the onside kick all it would have costed them was 20 yards. Who gives a shite at this point. You need a 3 and out period. A 3 and out with them on their 30 or them at the 50 or your 45 isn't a material difference

I mean, I don't get it. Three runs and a punt kills 2:30...at best, SEA gets the ball back with 3:30 left. Their drive will conceivably last at least two minutes...this makes no sense.

they need a turnover, both fumbles they forced unfortunately could not recover. And two 1st downs that carolina got that would have led to a punt were gotten by inches, burned a few more minutes.
