Don’t they have to change the name completely? Washington is now offensive, so the team should be the new State name plus the mascot. The name of the team should be the BLM Protesters. Obviously the new State is BLM

This is already a thing. Name change aside there are already debates about what the land RFK now sits on should be used for. I think the agreement with the federal government (who owns the land) says something along the lines of the land has to be used for recreational use or something to that effect. But many are arguing that more housing should be out there instead.
There are proposals of having both a new stadium and housing there.

Just change the name to the Washington Pigskins. It's a common name for a football, it would honor the history of the franchise, and their fans like to dress up as pigs so there wouldn't be much adjustment there. Plus they can still call the team the Skins without being racist as frick about it.

I think it will be the Washington RedTails. Seems like there is a lot of chatter about it. Dwayne Haskins just recently commented he would like to see them change the name to that. There seems to be a lot images already with this.
