And we thought they would stop if we gave them Gay marriage.

If it wasn’t on the books, it’s still a subjective judgement to disqualify her. The absurdity is disqualifying her while the tranny walks away with two state championships.

These are two completely different issues. Dudes shouldn't be competing with women, but I'm not sure what that has to do with an asinine celebration?

I mean you made a binary decision as well, that taking away her victory was incorrect.

Should a football turnover be called back if someone runs to the sideline and puts a chain on? Or a crown? Should that player just be thrown out entirely and the team forced to forfeit?
That’s a silly standard in most every other context

I find relevance because both things happened at the same event.

I think the whole point is the absurdity of both of those things when not looked at in a vacuum. As you can see in this thread a lot of people fall on the side that the celebration was not OK, but when you contrast that with the tranny thing that's when it makes the former look like child's play so to speak.
Posted on 6/2/25 at 12:06 pm to RemouladeSawce
So somebody brought a fire extinguisher to a meet for the sole purpose that if their child won they were gonna blast her shoes with it?
That’s weird.
That’s weird.

It's not being obtuse, I'm just sick of rage media attempting to link things that are not actually linked. Transgender shouldn't be competing with his/her/its chosen gender, I disagree with California on that. Realistically, I also don't believe the girl that celebrated should have her win revoked, but I'm also not losing sleep over a kid going that out of her way to celebrate a victory and can see why it was taken away.

There are rules on the rule book about sportsmanship. She broke them. Yes, it is subjective, but when you write the rules you get to apply the subjective rules…. Subjectively

Sure, that shite is lame as frick too

She won. How do you take it away for something after the race?
Posted on 6/2/25 at 1:23 pm to High C
I guess I got my answer to "Who would bring a fire extinguisher to a track meet?"
Posted on 6/2/25 at 2:41 pm to lsudirtbag
One moronic act (her doing a stupid celebration) isn't excused by another moronic act like allowing a male to run in women's races.
She is an idiot who needs to learn how to behave.

That was a stupid celebration.
It's ridiculous that boys are allowed to compete on girls sports.
It's California.

As both a racist and a bigot, I don't know which side to support here.

Clara’s father, David, said the celebration was done away from opponents. "She wasn’t disrespecting anyone," he told the outlet.
I would like to know more.
Where was it?
Was it just the two of them?
I have questions…

but that was presumably a fire extinguisher needed for the building and you sprayed it indoors.
OP says she got it from her dad so he potentially brought it? If he took it off a wall and gave it to her that’s definitely not ok.

I guarantee you the person that came in second doesn’t feel like a winner
This is about as stupid as taking away Bush’s Heisman. The competition was over. Nobody gives a frick when you strip titles after. Suspend her from the future races for acting like a dipshit

Agree with the DQ for celebrating
You don't spray abrasive chemical compounds on the track while the meet is still in progress. Why should the innocent bystanders and athletes be exposed to something like this just because you felt like celebrating??? The world doesn't revolve around you.
Both her and her coach/father need to grow up. They're not special and this would've set a bad precedent had it gone unpunished.
