The obvious counter would be it is only THAT when some people use it but not others. And while there may be a vague semblance of validity to the notion it is awful convenient...and lazy.....IMHO.

Look I'm not on the RC is a racist bandwagon, I think the term is overused and mis-applied way too often these days by folks on both ends of the spectrum.

But I do think RC takes some delight in pissing old and middle-aged white folks off. It gives him cred with folk he wants cred with, and that I think makes him feel good about himself. And he does a good job of that. And apparently ESPN likes that.
