Russillo officially leaving ESPN for The Ringer

He and Simmons are great together IMO, in large part because Russillo makes Simmons be his best by calling things out when Simmons lets his bias get in the way.

Yeah that is a big get. I never really got into the Ringer stuff. I will definitely be listening to the Rusillo stuff

Is it not possible for them to continue it under The Ringer? If there’s anyone I feel like ESPN might let do that it would be SVP

I know there is Ringer NBA, but I really would love Ryen's dual threat to turn into half NFL and half NBA. No matter how hard I try, I just don't like the Ringer NBA group.

They did 2 of them. It's still called "SVP & Russillo" I believe, so they could still pull it off, especially if it's only once a month.
I wonder if they'd want to move it to the Ringer so they could swear, but ESPN would probably be against that because of SVP's brand.

I haven't listened to them much. KOC seems all right. The NBA pod Simmons and Russillo did for those couple of months was plenty for me, and I was hopeful they'd find a way to do more work together.

If Espn let RR split time, then they’ll likely do the same for SVP for that pod.
Think all the guys that beefed with Simmons are gone from ESPN, which is why they had no issue with him doing work for them or name dropping them constantly on his ESPN pod, which he also does for the PMT guys.
