The biggest sport the Russians would have an advantage in IMO is hockey. The NHL will not allow its player to participate in this year's games, but I believe KHL players would be able to which would give them a huge advantage since Canadian/US teams would be made up of minor leaguers, college kids and old vets.

I don't know. they say they hacked the election and colluded with trump. apparently they're engaged in worldwide election fraud.

At the VERY LEAST we have all of the US intelligence agencies agreeing that Russia attempted to interfere in the elections. Everything else claimed by either side is really unverifiable at this point. Time will tell I guess
But I seriously doubt the IOC banned Russia because they think they got Trump elected.
