quote:Fight was over in probably less than 10 seconds. Bell rings, they tie up very quickly, Rhonda immediately tackles Gina, they are on the ground in an instant, Rhonda is on top and takes a couple of swings, while grabbing Gina's wrist and rotating into an arm bar. Gina was tapping out instantly as the arm bar started to be applied.
I don't have Netflix. How's the fight going?
The only two things Gina did was tap out, and then smile and talk with Rhonda incessantly like she was her best friend who helped her make over $1M and she didn't even smear her makeup.

Mike Tyson never fought Leon Spinks
Way to frick up your first post!
BTW you could argue Spinks didn't fought Tyson in '88 but Tyson sure as frick fought Leon... for a minute and a half and maybe 10 punches.

I didn't watch it, but this fight sounds like nothing more than straight up fraud.

How gracious of Netflix to put the whole fight for free on YouTube literally minutes after it ended.

I guess I will tell you.....Tyson fought Michael Spinks, not Leon.
Google could have been your friend

Only watched the last 3 fights and they were not good.
Thought I went back in time to 2014.

So Rhonda approached MVP and Netflix, says hey we all know my stand-up sucks, but if you can find me an overweight middle-aged mom, one that hasn't competed in 17 years, one with zero takedown defense, I promise to take her down and arm bar her in only a few seconds of the first round, and it will only cost you $2 million dollars.... and someone said you got a deal! Over 18 months...
Still not sustainable. She had been out of action for 17 years and was 240 pounds. It wasn’t going to end well and looks like I was right she didn’t even last 30 seconds
You can’t lose that kind of weight and have a good result. It takes years for your body to recover from being obese.

Ngannou needs to be in the UFC for fricks sake.
He made 25 million against Anthony Joshua. Ngannou said he wouldn’t have made that in five fights in the UFC. UFC payouts are still an archaic joke compared to other combat sports. White has only himself to blame.

And he never would have gotten to that level of purse without all of the years of promotion from the UFC.

The disclosed payouts for last night’s MMA event were not all that different from the UFC.

It wasnt LEON SPINKS!!! It was MICHAEL SPINKS!!!!

Somebody needs to intervene!! Diaz should not be fighting. This is getting to the point that it is dangerous, not fun to watch, and is sure as hell not healthy for him going forward. The guy is about half a step away from being Punch Drunk Retarded!!

Have any of these washed up people coming out of retirement fights ever delivered?
Netflix knows it’s a joke but people will watch.

It’s irrelevant. UFC won’t and can’t pay him near that. Jon Jones knows this also. Why do you think all these UFC fighters are looking elsewhere for work? They have to leave the UFC to get the big time paydays.

We are about 9 for 9 on these "big" Netflix fights being garbage.
Gee I wonder what #10 will be like??

Netflix is relying on the casuals the people who know very little about Boxing or MMA. Think people that believe McGregor had a chance against Mayweather or that a 60 year old Tyson was going to KO Jake Paul. The gullible. That’s who Netflix is trying to attract with these cards it seems to be working. Look at all the simps on here who thought Carano being out for 17 years and having to lose 100 pounds wouldn’t matter.

Thats the thing. Diaz didnt come out of retirement. He is still trying to fight, just not as much in MMA the last couple of years.
Posted on 5/17/26 at 9:56 am to ArcticTiger
Diaz has been retarded for many years. More knocks to the head aren't going to do much
