In a octagon she could maybe maneuver around him and try some kicks to keep him back but she still wouldn't be able to get any type of submission on him.

The guy is an elite NFL running back. Having great footwork and agility is his M.O. But, she'll just maneuver around him?

I didn't say she would do it with ease. However, she does fight in the octagon for a living so she does have the awareness advantage. she likely knows how close to the cage she is at any point and time and can move someone that wouldn't be experienced in the octagon around it. Plus the octagon is larger than the elevator and the more space the better the chance for her. Notice I said maybe as well, it just gives her a slightly better chance to not get knocked the frick out with in a minute

Awareness advantage? Ray Rice has elite awareness in space.

Ray would charge her and she would stick her hip out to try her takedown shite and Ray would run her straight through the elevator door. It is hilarious that some people think any of her moves would work against Ray Rice

Um why anyone would want this to happen is beyond me, she would get seriously injured in a fight with Rice. I am glad he was banned for his actions, but if Ronda cannot get him down with one punch then its over. All he has to do is bum rush her and body slam her like he has been doing to people his whole life.

How many female mma pros are there? how many NFL starting running backs are there? How many exNFL and college football players have success in mma?

LMAO at 95% of the people thinking Rice would get the better of the best female fighter in MMA.

The comments in this thread on both sides of the fence are pretty laughable

It is really amazing how little most people know about fighting, and how wrong your natural instincts are most of the time

I think millions of years of evolution outweigh tens of years of training here.

I dont think people realize how strong NFL football players have to be.

especially a guy Ray Rice's size. There is no way in hell she would be him in a fight. And no way in hell she could submit this guy. He'd break out of any submission she would try and get him in. He's that fricking strong.

I don't think many defending Rousey in here would put money on her if it came down to it, but I don't think Ray wins 100 out of 100 times.

In what way could she get a submission on Rice? He's too strong for her and could break out f anything she tried. Ok honestly surprised you've taken this side in this thread. Rouses would be lucky to win with a weapon, much less straight up.

One strategically placed kick to his balls delivered with MMA force and he is down for the count. One strategically placed upward jab to his nose forcing his bones into his cranium and he is dead.

Could I do either with any skill? Nope. Could she? I think it's totally possible.
