Might as well.

It did the unthinkable of surpassing the NBA in having the most unwatchable all star game in sports.

Replace it with the bottom two teams playing for the #1 overall pick.

Doesn’t really address the issue. Players don’t give a shite about winning the #1 overall pick when the average career is less than 3 years long

Eighty-eight players will receive the Pro Bowl honor

So, there’s going to be a first, second, third, and fourth team of players designated a “Pro Bowler”.

See the dumb thing about that tweet is outside of that play, that eras pro bowls were just as dumb and half assed people are rectonning those old pro bowls like they weren’t just as unwatchable as some of the new stuff they tried to do to make it more interesting to watch

It's a somewhat meaningful exhibition game to fill the bye week.

But meaningful to who? Any player worth anything will opt out of that game as well after a 17 game season. It would be basically a preseason game level of competitiveness

I mean traditionally that number is at 100 plus before alternates so that’s an improvement and makes it a more worthy accolade. All pro is another step up from that if you want a more prestigious award for this kind of thing

They probably have to do that because of contract incentives for players.

I'm assuming it won't be available on future contracts. They can still have incentives for All-Pro, All-NFC and All-AFC

It was all downhill after Robert Edwards ended his career in the sands of the Hawaii beach.

This stuff was more entertaining anyways.

2000 QB Challenge: Featuring Peyton, McNabb, Jake the Snake, & More!

Just do position challenges for some cash.

Should have made the Hall of Fame Game, a preseason game no one cares for other than it’s the first snaps of football, the fricking Pro Bowl. Honor the past with the stars of today. No replacements unless injury and have hall of famers coaching the game.

And yes injuries would be a concern…but that’s any game. It was a simple win win, but no one ever wanted to try that. Just that poor attempt to save it via flag football.
