He’s one of those guys who made the sport he was involved with better and more interesting. Sort of like Bill Walton with basketball.
I wonder if EA will retire his name from their game? They’ll have to do some tribute in the opening for hun at least.

My wife asked me about him last week and I was surprised to learn he was still alive. RIP, he was a big voice throughout my youth and teen years

RIP to an absolute legend. People throw around that term loosely but he was so important to the game in so many facets. He will never be forgotten

As most have already said, Summerall and Madden were the best. I used to get so amped as a kid when they would broadcast one of my Redskin games in the early 80's. Madden would talk about the hogs all game
