Fair enough, however, I agreed that it wasn’t racist.
I’ll restate, if Henry were the Democratic candidate running against Walker (hypocritical as Walker is), I believe Henry would get a pass. It’s just where we are as a nation right now, with two sets of expectations (rules) from the press and its respective members (including sports journalists). Just my .02.

If they're young, No, they don't because they're so used to writing in texts in broken English now that it carried over into their way of thinking about how real English should be. So, it's not surprising that they don't know the meaning of these words.
