re: Reuben Foster isn't a woman beater

Jameis Winston is trash and didn't even have NFL money when his ordeal was going on but in that case you're convinced the woman was lying, even though she had much less to gain.
Not one guy on this forum could withstand multiple hits from Reuben Foster and still get up and around, but we're supposed to believe a woman did.
I don't know if Reuben is guilty or not, but my guess is if he didn't go to Bama you'd be working over time to defend him like you do Jameis.

how do you go about proving this kind of thing in the vast majority of cases?
Proving a false accusation of DV?

I don't particularly give a shite what school the guy went to. Is it plausible that a woman would lie about being beaten by a man with a vindictive motive to hurt said man criminally and financially? Absolutely.
But it is equally as plausible that a guy, with a lot of money and a lot to of money to lose should he lose his job, beat a woman, then paid her to recant the story for HIS benefit
The ruptured ear drum makes me lean more towards the latter in this situation. Sure, she could have gotten in the previous fight. But what is more plausible? That injury occurred in a fight with another woman in da club, or from being hit by a 200+ NFL linebacker.
If she is saying she made the whole thing up, then drop the charges and move on. But it doesn't mean he didn't actually hit her. But I don't think he should be punished for something for which he was not found guilty

I think the truth is somewhere in between. Foster definitely didn't punch her 8-10 times because she'd be dead. He may have grabbed, shoved or slapped her and she saw that as an opportunity to get paid.

This important post is getting ignored.

Yes.
For example, someone being found non guilty or even having their case dropped doesn't mean the accuser made it up. I know this particular case is another story altogether, but I'm wondering about the others.

Yeah, if this case gets dropped, I'm interested to see whether Foster and the police pursue charges against her instead. If I'm Foster and I'm wrongly accused, I'm going to push for criminal/civil charges against that accuser. If it just dies on the vine, it will give a lot of credence to the idea she was paid off.

In prosecuting the filing of a false police report, this is a very important element to establish and prove. Can't establish the "knowingly supplying incorrect information" element, you got no case it operates like fraudulent misrepresentation in that sense.

But there's video evidence of her getting beat to sleep by another woman causing her injuries that she claimed Reuben inflicted on her
Yet the police and DA decided to continue forward. There is some reason they thought that it happened as originally reported.
I doubt they went "1st round pick of the 49ers - let's charge him no matter what!"
It's not like it's the first time an accuser suddenly didn't go along with the charges. I mean, Greg Hardy's charges were dismissed.

This. Its laughable to think that Foster likely punched a GF of his the same he would some punk on the street. That's rarely how it works. This wasn't a street boxing match, it potentially was a domestic issue.
I also have a hard time believing that absolutely nothing happened here, even if this woman has a history of this.
Lastly, this all still lead to Foster having an illegal semi automatic weapon in California right? LOL, this doesn't make that go away.

I would say it is a bad character past that hurts the accusers credibilily
Good thing Reubs has no criminal past to hurt his character

Nothing. He is clean as a whistle
No other arrests or charges at all in his past
