Don’t act like you’d be saying any of that if he didn’t criticize Trump.

There is a nearly 100% correlation between guys with that severe a case of TDS and guys who frick little boys in the a-hole.

I suspect you know this, very well. As does TT9.

Why weren’t these criticisms made before he publicly criticized Trump? Why is it typically from people who claim to never watch the NBA? People were fawning over Pop a decade ago.

No one shat on him as a coach in the beginning because the Spurs were still good (2014 Champs).

Spurs have been terrible for quite awhile now and his entire image has been impacted by that.

I respect him as a coach, winning and managing personalities, but fundamentally disagree with him politically, I believe he thinks as himself as an activist , but should just keeps his politics to just endorse a candidate rather than then bashing the opposition candidate

It’s funny how many average you are when you don’t have four Hall of Famer on your team at once

I’m a die hard Spurs fan and also a conservative. He’s one of the best coaches of all time, no denying that.

He now sounds like a bitter old man. I don’t care for his politics obviously, but I’m mature enough to separate that from my opinion of him as a human. The people calling him a shitty person are pathetic.

By all accounts, he is a very good person. I’ve heard many stories about him behind closed doors. He played an arse on TV, so did Saban and nobody had a problem with that. I just think his political views are very misaligned.

He turned into a straight up communist. No wonder so much bad shite started happening to him.

with pop it’s minutes on minutes of 5 second snippets of him demeaning and humiliating people doing their job. Craig sager in particular.

Maybe he used to demean people (though to a certain extent I doubt it), but his interactions with Sager were always a “bit” as far as a I could tell.

This is an accurate take. I think he’s off his rocker on politics but to pretend he’s not one of the GOAT NBA coaches is ‘tarded. That being said, Trump broke a bunch of people who should and could have remained apolitical.
