Some places have them vying for west division, some have them last in the division

They lost all their games last year by a single possession.

Does Frost finally get over the hump or is it the end of the road for him?

I think iowa and Wisconsin are too good on defense for Nebraska to beat them

If frost goes 6-6 or 7-5, is he retained?

I think they’re an 8-9 win team this season.

Scott Frost is on the hot seat, and I think they come out and beat Oklahoma week 3. That win would save Frost’s job this year right there. I think they go 7-5 or 8-4 this season.

One could make the argument that they're close to turning a corner due to this, but Nebraska has been losing close games and blowing leads since Frost's first season, and most of it was their own doing.

Every year they manage to commit stupid penalties and untimely turnovers against more talented and less talented teams. At some point you can't chalk it all up to bad luck.

Nebraska should go bowling this season, but that's been said before. I'll believe it when I see it.

I'll believe it when I see it. 100% spot on.

Since we are discussing the Big 10. I think a lot of people are sleeping on the Hawkeyes this year.

The reason an otherwise talented team continues to lose close games is coaching. Way too undisciplined after having his program in place so long. Fundamentals, physicality, and toughness, are instilled, or they aren't there.

I have no idea what Frost is selling in Lincoln these days but better coaches at Nebraska have had their heads chopped off for much less.

It sounds like Frost has been neutered in his control of the program, so it'll be interesting to see.

I hope they do good honestly.

yea when Mikey Joseph comes in and single handily changes the recruiting there...yea you have a problem in the program.

Scott is a shite human so i hope he fails, but i do like Nebraska so torn if i want them to win or not. Frost is just so arrogant and doesnt see the error in his ways many times. no self perception at all.

i do think they go 7-5 though.

I watched a few of their games last year, and their QB would go from hero to zero at any moment.

If memory serves, they got a transfer QB from TX and the QB coach/OC from Pitt. Maybe that will be enough for a few more wins this year.

I don't know how many wins they have to get for Frost to save his job.

This. Especially 4 years into that regime. At some point that's on the HC and staff.

Probably has something dealing with Lawrence Phillips during their playing days at NEB.

It’s the big 10.

James Franklin at Penn state is one game over 0.500 since coming from Vanderbilt, and he’s the second highest paid HC in the conference. He’s been retained, and even got an extension. At best, they’ll be 7-5 this year. Bookmark this post.

So Scott Frost? Nebraska will keep him. Just another cannon fodder team for osu to beat up to get into the championship games, only to lose to an sec team.
