I honestly hate people like you. All of a sudden the guy that takes more contact as a QB then anyone in the league who has won a Heisman, an MVP, a national title has no heart? Not everything has to be this definitive statement making moment.

Yeah, he'll get shite, but in general he'll remain a popular and liked player in the real world.

Just not on this board.

lets not pretend that this board is the only place that doesn't like Cam

unless all his comments before the game were solely directed at this board

This looks to me like a player that have given up on the play and his team. These are normally the guys that are the most talented guys on the team and think they are the only reason why they win. When things don't go their way they will quit and think the other players are costing him the game.

That is such a dumb assessment I hope you dont reproduce. It was a milisecond decision yet you think he sat there and thought, "Hmm, I am the best player on this team, I am going to quit now. I have no heart so it is time for me to now not want any contact" No, that isnt what happened. For whatever reason in that split milisecond he thought he was making a better play. It looks bad on replay slow motion and now the dumbasses flock over it like retard flies on a pile of shite

I don't know how this assessment is any better than the one you are ripping apart

Strategic pull-up my arse. The only reason Ware didn't recover it is because a Panthers lineman further away than Cam was busting his arse throwing his 300+ pound body on the ball. Like any player playing hard has done on virtually every fumble in history. Which is why its always so hard to recover balls in traffic. What if that lineman would have pulled up to get in a strategic stance for it to squirt out as well?

Be honest. Think how many times you've seen somebody pull up like that going for a fumble? I watch a lot of football and I can honestly say I've never seen it to that noticeable of an extent. And you are gonna try to tell me its a coincidence that the most seemingly egregious case of it came at the most adveritly-filled time of a season by a player who proved himself to, around the time of the play in question, be handling adversity about as poorly as any other player ever as evidenced by his sideline antics? That was just coincidence?

I like Cam. But this is inexcusable. He quit on his team and owes them an apology.

Watching it live, it looked to me like Newton thought the ball was going to change direction... after watching the replay, it looked much worse.

Who knows what was going through his head... we may never get the real answer.

all Cam had to do was fall down and he recovers that fumble

he deserves everything he is getting for pulling up

No, thats obviously not what happened. What's much more likely is he was pissed at his linemen/offense and frustrated that he wasn't getting as many opportunities to make plays as he liked. He was already coming apart before the play started and realizing the game had probably slipped away due to another mess up by his teammates, he got frustrated with them. He didn't feel like he owed them any effort to keep hustling and so gave an equivalent effort to what I would give diving for a loose ball in a pickup game at the rec center.

If that is what happened then Cam is from the planet Krypton and truly is superman because he has the ability to suspend time and space and think about all that shite in the matter of a split second

I take it you have not been around sports much. I see it all the time in spoiled players who think they like this and has been pampered their whole life.
