Not sure how Fitz became the punching bag for drunk American 25 year olds. First at the Players and then here. Pretty innocuous guy.

Every casual bought into Scheffler being the next Tiger Woods and an American goat.
Seeing him lose to Rory and Fitz triggers them.
Fact is Scottie is the best player in the world but he isnt dominant. The fact hes been so close to winning despite not having his A game is a testimant to his ability. It's tough to win on tour though and there are a lot of great players. In Tigers era scottie would've just won his third masters.

He’s a mild mannered, nice nerd. Showed some personality at Ryder Cup but nothing ridiculous and that tournament was a shitshow. So weird people give him so much shite.
I’ve grown to really respect him.
He wasn’t born with freak ability. That guy grinded to get his game. Works as hard as anyone in the sport.

I plan to follow him a bit at the Zurich. He’s a little nerdy but he’s also an exceptionally good golfer. The fans at harbor town were total morons.
And honestly I don’t get the impression that Scottie was the biggest fan of it either.

Absolutely ridiculous take. Scottie is still winning majors where these guys are all playing together.
