Didn’t a team win like 13 in a row to start the season?

82 Braves and 87 Brewers

Great start for them but they have played the Tigers, Nationals, and A’s.

9-0 is an insane start in and of itself, but they are straight dominating their wins too.

My Rays. Love them. I’ll be at the Trop tomorrow night. With Fleming starting, it’s going to be tough. Rotation will be incredible once Glasnow is back hopefully in mid May.

Red Sox fans are pretty nice for the most part. Yankee fans are trash.

So why hasn’t anyone else done it since world war 2? (generously speaking)

9-0 is impressive, regardless of opponent. It's tough to avoid not dropping a game or two. But yeah that's a pretty punchless group of opponents. Particularly the Nats and A's.

The Tampa Bay Rays are the first team since 1884 with a run differential of more than 50 over their first nine games of the season, according to @ESPNStatsInfo.

And the only team with a longer streak to win by 4 or more runs in a row is the 1939 Yankees with 10. Rays are at 9.

I'm honestly speechless. It's one thing if the Astros, Braves, Yankees, Padres do this, but the Rays? Really?

Difficult to win 9 straight against any opponent but you are on to something there.
Rays' opponents are 7-21 combined right now.

So they 7-12 when not playing the rays… bad obviously not 0-9 and getting out scored by 50+ runs bad

The Rays could be 81-0 at the all star break and still wouldn’t be filling up the Trop.
