Who wants to watch Alabama throttle everyone every week? SEC fricked themselves by bowing down to Lord Saban every chance they get. They still get every call which amazes me.

Which is why the product sucks this year.

CBS keeps showing Bama every week as their marquee game.

What dumbass CBS Executive Picked Alabama/Vanderbilt?

There were like 5 better games in the SEC this week. This game is already over and I've already changed the channel.

It's this bowing down to Bama that has created this mess that Slive instituted and CBS followed for ratings...because Bama is the big national brand in the SEC conference.

Television doesn't understand the meaning of moderation and this whole "people ONLY want to watch Alabama" strategy ruins everything. It's gotten as unwatchable as SEC basketball on ESPN. Instead of finding a competitive game between two decent teams, they give us "Kentucky vs. Other" EVERY SINGLE FREAKING WEEK. Television wanted and created their "superteam," but now their games are boring and non-competitive, and they just don't know how to quit them.

Same thing with NFL. The Cowboys are the most popular team, so OBVIOUSLY that means that 12 of their games have to be nationally televised, right? Yeah, that NEVER gets old.

Yeah, I was really surprised CBS picked that game. No one else but some CBS executive thought that game would be close.

And to think, about 5 years ago, CBS couldn't lose, regardless of which game they chose on a given week. As long as they left Vandy out, CBS could draw their "game of the week" out of a hat and end up with a great game.

Does anyone watch Inside College Football on CBSSN on Tuesdays? I enjoy that show and Brian Jones cracks me up

Mac's patheticness at Florida has been a surprise. I mean I knew he probably couldn't recruit, but he was good at X's and O's at CSU.

It is because his OC Nuss is trash. Their QB shuffle has to be the only thing keeping him employed.

Honestly, with only a 4 team playoff, college football is pointless to the majority of fans who watch on TV. If you don't have a shot at the playoff why bother watching? Also bowl games are meaningless as well.

Obviously ratings are down due to people boycotting.

I'll be that guy.

Verne may have made a lot of mistakes, but he always had a welcoming voice that let you know you were listening to a guy enjoy the game just as much as you were. His voice and the SEC's title streak are connected, and I miss that old fricker

Nessler is awesome though, one of the best. SEC is down, ratings are down.

LOL

My sarcasm meter went off. NICE.

They picked another terrible matchup this weekend too. UF is going to beat LSU by 30+. This game will also be over by halftime.

There is much more entertaining football on in other conferences. Not to mention the CBS matchups take 4 plus hours. Not fun.

The SEC is dead. That was intentional. Now their favorite team can coast to the playoffs every year with no worries from Sept to December.

Cord cutters

If we can use this for NFL it can't apply for CFB either.

Why do I keep seeing this? They've only had us on once this year and that was against an undefeated Vandy coming off a win against a ranked opponent. I get that Bama was an 18 point favorite in that game, but there are a lot of people out there that realistically didn't think we'd come close to hitting that number.
