for some reason i like the 2005 unc team the best. i think people forget about them now because the whole team has flopped in the nba. that 05 unc team probably has the best ncaa championship win, against a 1 loss illinois team.

i'd put 07 florida or 12 kentucky as #2. 2010 duke and 2011 uconn are by far the worst.

07 Florida would beat this year's Louisville team by 15. Better at every position but SG. 07 OSU probably would've beaten this year's Louisville.

the best 4 are easily '07 florida, '08 kansas, '09 unc, and '12 kentucky. just listed them in chronological order.

kansas interestingly pretty much beat '07 florida and '09 unc. obviously that's absurd, but it's cool. they also have the best resume in terms of advanced statistics (something that can actually be compared over time since it is relative to your year of competition) and shite like that im pretty sure. they have the most wins ever for a champ and i think one of, if not the, highest scoring margin for a season ever. they also won the toughest final four ever. that's my quick case for kansas, but you can make a great and similar case for the other 3 teams i listed.

glad you brought up average margin of victory. how about season long stats?

2007 florida: 17.2
2008 kansas: 18.7
2009 unc: 17.1
2012 kentucky: 17

They needed a miracle to beat Davidson in the Elite 8, were the weakest 1 seed overall and needed a massive choke job by Derrick Rose and Memphis to force overtime.

And UNC down almost 30 points at halftime came back to within 5 points in the Final Four.

But I think that year had some very very good teams with UNC, Kansas and Memphis. Wasn't the Final four all #1 seeds?

there is so much retarded shite being posted about kansas. i didnt want it to take over the thread, but now it should. they needed a miracle to beat davidson? some white dude (a certain lobster) badly missed a contested, rushed 3 with no time to get it off. what a miracle. cant believe that happened

they only beat unc by 18 in the final four! what the hell! they should have won by 90 like it looked like they were going to! frick them for raping the team that everyone is ranking top 3 on their list (im reaching, bitches)!

as for memphis, they needed some missed FTs for sure, but they capitalized and dominated in OT. kansas was winning at the half. the teams were even.
