Did lance or Jimmy G look as good as he does?
Jimmy G did without all the weapons being healthy at the same time like Purdy has been fortunate to have. The difference is the expectations are higher for Jimmy G. We highlight his bad and expect his good. With Purdy we highlight the good and expect his bad. I'm not arguing Purdy will hold the 49ers back or that he is awful, just that he doesn't look the way he does without the talent around him buoying him up and making plays.

So over 11 games Jimmy G has
2,437 yards
16 TD’s
4 picks
54.5 QBR
67% completion
7.9 yards/attempt
ESPN Jimmy G stats
Purdy has in 7 games
1,706 yards
16 TD’s
4 picks
65.5 QBR in the regular season and 89 in the post season
65% completion
8.1 yards per attempt in regular season and 11.1 in post season
Fairly comparable and I realize all of purdy’s games are with McCaffery while only some of G’s are.
But it looks like Purdy is playing better.

Reading this thread, without looking at stats, I thought Allen must be better than Burrow. After looking at stats, Burrow is pretty clearly the better passer. You can probably say they are even when you factor in Allen's rushing, but I'm not sure how there can be a consensus that Allen is better. Allen turns the ball over 33% more than Burrow, and only produced 6% more total yards and 5% more total tds.

Well not only did you rank Lawrence last but you also ranked Purdy and Jones above Burrow and Allen? And you’re calling him stupid?
Lawrence had a flat out awful first half Saturday night. A first half that would make many QBs just fold and start looking ahead to the next season. Instead of doing that though he sacked up like a fricking MAN and lead the team on one of the greatest comebacks in NFL playoff history. In addition to that he’s been one of the best QBs in the entire NFL over the last month and a half of the regular season.
But you ranked him last of the remaining eight, presumably based on just the first half Saturday night. You then called someone else stupid for ranking him fifth. Good Lord. Pot meet kettle.

This in no way means that the Bengals are certain to beat the Bills, but what Burrow did last week behind that awful offensive line was amazing. He had zero time to throw as the game moved on last week. All he had time for was 2.5 seconds or less, and even at that he was getting hit right after he threw the ball. On a 3rd and half yard play Zac Taylor admitted he called a roll out pass thinking it would be man coverage but it was zone and the play had zero chance to succeed, but Burrow made the unblocked $100 million Roquan Smith miss in the backfield and he scrambled for a first down (they scored a td later that drive). The Bengals had almost zero run game.
I admit that it helps to have a talent like Jamarr Chase. Both Burrow and Chase were limited to routes of 12 yards or shorter due to double teams and zero protection for Burrow yet they still found ways to get 17 offensive points against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
This is what homerism looks like. A true Louisiana Burrow Boy going all out for his hero!

why does everyone think his name is spelled mahommes

Daniel Jones has put his career in super drive. Playing for a team that didn't want to pick up his 5th-year option at about 18 million has been showing out all season under Daboll. And then just carried his team to a big upset throwing for 300 yards and rushing for around 80. The guy's first playoff game ever! Heads up New York fans you aren't touching Daniels's new contract at 18 mil. Think at least 30, maybe 40 mil in free agency. At the very least, NY is going to have to franchise Daniel Jones.
No one has helped themselves at QB more than this guy.

I don’t think people realize how different level Mahomes is.
I trust Burrow more than Allen to drive the team down and score on last possession in the 4th. Allen makes wayyyy too many mistakes.
Hurts seems like will take the next step into greatness and has the opportunity to have a Burrow-like season from last year if he guides his team to the SB. He has the easiest path.
Lawrence has been playing elite for 2/3 of the season and I would take him for rest of career over Hurts.
Purdy needs to do it for longer.
Dak is one of the most overrated players in the entire NFL

If you’re going to do that, why would Burrow be ranked over Hurts? Hurts has more yards per attempt and completion. Has a better INT percentage, a better quarterback rating..and has done it while being sacked at a higher rate than Burrow.
Yea, Burrow holds the edge in all the volume stats, but aside from completion percentage, Hurts beats him in nearly every efficiency stat while tripling his rushing production.

Just think allen at his best is alittle better than burrow but its close.
The only thing Allen does better than Burrow is running the ball. Burrow has better passing stats. I wouldn’t really even call it close. Burrow’s passing stats are elite.

2) Hurts - think the dual threat aspect of him puts him ahead of Allen and Burrow. Yes injury is worrying but I think he'll be fine.
Dude has had a good year and probably has the best oline but come on no way he is second.

That's fine, I didn't look at Hurts.
